The monster within

Nicole lied in bed at home. she was regretting the things that happened today. On the outside she was a caring mother who did anything to protect her family. But deep inside her there was a monster waiting to come out. Her family drove her past her anger limit and she nearly tried to kill her husband, all because of the kids wanting candy and Richard being a bad father. She's never been more angry in her life. She sat up in bed trying not to wake Richard. She looked out the window and sighed.
All she wanted was a nice family outing, but with her family, nothing goes her way. People hated her family for the things they did. All Nicole wanted was a normal family, but she wasn't getting that. She turned towards Richard who was sleeping next to her. She gently patted him
"Richard" said Nicole
Richard woke up but was still partially asleep
"Yes honey" Said Richard
"Richard, about today, I'm so sorry I tried to kill you and the kids. I don't know what got into me. I've never been so angry before in my life. it felt like my anger just got a mind of its own" said Nicole
"Don't feel bad Nicole, it's my fault for what happened. I was being a bad father for encouraging the kids to eat candy and drive you over your limit" said Richard
"I almost killed a guy today just by touching him, im a monster, a blue monster who can destroy anything that makes me angry" said Nicole
Richard patted her back
"It's ok Nicole, I forgive you" said Richard "And I promise I'll try to be a better father"
"Thanks Richard" said Nicole
Richard kissed Nicole on the cheek
"I love you Nicole" said Richard before falling asleep
"I love you too Richard, I love you and the kids" said Nicole
she lied back into bed and covered herself with the blanket. She knew she had a loving family, even though they got on her nerves sometimes, she still loved them. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep
