A/N2: set after season 2 and freshmen/ sophomore year of glee. Season 1

Prologue

She loved him more than anything in this world. He was her soul mate, her life, her world, her life. she could still remember the last moment they shared together.

Flashback

"buffy? What's going on?"

She just looks at him, confused but not yet ready to lower the sword. He looks around a bit and gets to his feet.

"Where are we? I don't remember anything"

Finally Buffy realizes that the curse has worked, and she slowly lowers her sword.

"Angel?"

"you're hurt"

She looks down at her wound and feels his gentle touch on her arm. She ignores her cut, looks back up at him and steps closer. He embraces her tightly. She still couldn't believe it was true. Her angel was back. she cries into his shoulder as a slow rumble begins behind him. Buffy looks up and a sees acathla begins to move. A red glow admits form his eyes. his mouth slowly opens and a the vortex of hell begins to open. Buffy lets go of angel and looks up into his face.

"buffy? What's going on?

"shhh. It's ok. Close your eyes" Angel did as she asked.

" I love you and I always will" said before kissing him. she steps back and draws back her sword and thrust it into his chest. His opens in surprise and pain. He looks up at buffy and reaches out to her. buffy steps back further away from him with tears running down her cheek.

"buffy…I love you" he reaches out to buffy for one last time before the vortex finally swallows him and disappears. Buffy stares at the demon as the truth of what she has done, what she had lost sinks in.

She breaks down and begins to cry as her heart crumble into pieces. A few hours pass, she slowly began to rise, making her way carefully towards her home…..

End of flashback

Buffy stood outside sunnydale, looking back at the place she once called home. Saying her final goodbye, she turned around and got back into her car, she turns her radio on. A soft melody began to play.

I thought I had all the answers

A single tear fell down her cheek as began her journey to find a place she can call home.
