Bri: No, not the real one. My gerbil. You just wouldn't know him 'cause I kept him away from you 'cause you killed Rocky.

------------------- Chapter 1, the rebel ------------------

There was a large explosion that filled all of the Reikai. Large, angelic figures swooped over the sky. They were chasing another creature that was similar to them; but there was one big difference: Where as they were light, pure, and had a strange glow to them, the other was dark, corrupted, and seemed to fill the air with darkness.

The dark one did a nosedive toward the ground and pulled up at the last minute, hoping for the others to crash. But it was forlorn. They caught up to her. One, or maybe all, screamed their attack: "White Light Arrow!!"

The darker one fell afoul the great arrow and came crashing down; wings broken and all. She desperately tried to get airborne once more, yet it was in vain. The others delivered a volley of attacks, just as bright and glowing as they.

Mean while, back in Ningenkai, the tantie enjoyed their break from any cases. It had been weeks since their last case and they were spending there time wisely, or some of them were. (cough, Baka, cough)

Yusuke sat outside with the rest of his group. They were starting to get bored now. And maybe a little suspicious . . .

"Don't you think something bad would've happened by now?" Yusuke asked. "I mean, it's never been this quiet before."

And, almost on cue, a ferry-girl whom they did not recognize flew down. She was bearing a message. "Help! Oh Help! Spirit World is going to the dogs and Koenma and Botan are nowhere to be found! This is your new case. Oh it's horrible!"

"Told ya'." Yusuke snickered.

"What do you expect us to do, anyways?" Hiei asked coldly.

"Oh, I dunno! But there is a rebellion going on in Heaven Unit 4, 5, 7, and 9!" She said, she then gave them a small orb, "Here is a portal! It will only work 4 times! Now go!" She urged, then she flew off.

"Well, that was odd." Kuwabara said.

"My word, Baka has finally said something smart! This can only mean that the Apocalypse is on its way! Run for your lives!" Yusuke taunted.

"If we don't act fast, then it will." Kurama said.

"Huh?" Baka and Yusuke said in union.

"It's simple," Hiei said, "If the Heaven Units are destroyed, so are all of the realms."

"Weird." Yusuke said. He held up the orb. "Well, let's go!"

"Yusuke," Kurama said, "You're not holding it right."

"Oh . . ."
