This is really really short. I'm at the beach! hoorah!
But so much homework because of it. *falls over*
Anyways, this isn't editted, nor is it beta-ed. Yell at me if you don't like it.
I don't own. Yay..
"Riku! Riku, come look!" Sora called from his spot at the shoreline's rocky bay. It was nearing the end of the day and the sun was setting, casting a red-orange light to Sora's lithe little from.
"Hey, don't fall in." Riku said, snaking an arm around the brunet's thin waste and pulling him away from the edge of the rock. If he fell in, he'd have a very nasty bloody face. Riku didn't want that and he was super positive Sora wouldn't want that either.
"Silly, I wasn't going to fall in. But look!" Sora pointed down into the deep ocean filled crevice. There sat small lonely baby sea turtle. Riku gave Sora a confused look. What would he want to do with that thing?
"I'm going to save it!" He said heroically. Riku pulled him back farther and Sora let him.
"No, Sora. You can't do that." Riku said, snuggling into the shorter one's shoulder. He felt Sora become very tense. He held on tighter, signaling he wasn't allowed to go and rescue it.
"Why not?! It's stuck! I have to save it." Riku shook his head, humming a negative sound.
"You don't have to be a hero all the time. It's not your job."
"What? Riku, you're not making sense." Riku let go of Sora, content to just be alone for a bit, but the brunet turned around to face him, hugging himself to Riku. It was cold and Sora was looking for body heat, most likely. Riku's arms came around him again.
"Remember the storm last night?" Sora nodded his head. That storm had kept them inside all yesterday, of course he wouldn't forget it! "That little guy probably hatched then, right in the middle of the storm. He couldn't go out in the ocean, so he hid there in the crevice. Since it's low-tide now, he can't swim away. Soon he'll be able to get back in the ocean. You just have to let nature take it's course."
"You're being all smart and logical again, Riku. It makes you all sexy." Riku's eyes widened and he looked down to glare at Sora, but was stopped when he saw the giant grin on Sora's face. The grin directed at him. Gosh, it was like the sun hadn't gone down at all.
"Just remember," Riku whispered. "You don't always have to be a hero."
"I know that now, Riku." Sora whispered back. "Thank you."
"Anytime, Sora. You know I'll always be here for you. Don't worry about it."
The end!
Later Taters!

I say you should review. Riku would want you to review. So would the baby turtle.
