It's the rule she lived by, because she was Effy fucking Stonem and nobody was going to get inside her and mess with her the way she did to others. She was the queen of manipulation and sure it could be lonely at the top but its what she wanted right?.
Fixing Tony & Michelle and putting Cassie & Sid back together wasn't anything special. They were causing unnessarcary baggage into her life, so she did it to shut them the fuck up because once again she's Effy fucking Stonem and she doesnt want to listen to them whine about such trivial things as love. She could finally have some piece and quiet and the lovely couples could go back to fucking and pretending this was what they wanted.
She thinks it started with Pandora, the girl wormed her way in somehow when she wasn't looking. She hated being able to say she had a certain soft spot for the wierd blonde girl, the vile rose in her stomach as she actually used words like best friend when she thought of "Panda Pops". She didnt expect it to happen, she thought the girl would follow her around like a lost puppy until someone different come along. Now she feared to say if she were to leave she would miss her.
She's a fuck up it's what she does, so messing with JJ, Cook & Freddie was no biggie, if their friendship couldn't stand one messed up little girl maybe they weren't as strong as they thought they were. Plus it was just supposed to be a good fuck, nothing more nothing less. Then Freddie started to like her, then Cook started to Lust her, then Freddie started to love her, Then Cook started to god damn love her. It wasn't supposed to happen she made them fight, she made them hate themselves when they should have been hating her not loving.
She told Freddie she'd break his heart. She never thought he'd break hers until the day she heard him call Katie babe and then hold her hand. That's when things really got fucked up, she didnt do love she hated it she didn't even know what it was but when Naomi giggled and said you love him, she knew she was right. It made her gut wrench it made her want to throw up. When had she let her guard down so bad that someone other then Pandora weesled their way in.
It doesn't make any sense, in fact it doesn't even compute in her brain, she's Effy fucking Stonem and she's in love with some stupid junkie skateboarder who makes her heart feel things she never thought possible, makes her want to be a different person & surprisinly enough she's about to dive right in.
