- Orm Point Of View -
Prince Orm swam slowing down in the area of the old kingdom. After his half-brother Arthur took the throne it took him a while to accept, but evenly with time he came to accept the way things had played out.
He was crowned a 'Prince', and now lead the Atlantean Guard. A huge act of trust on Arthurs part.
He was going to meet some of this kings' advisers, flanked on both sides with some lesser guards, when something, or…someone caught his eye.
She was swimming on the outskirts of the crowd, slowly, looking around – she didn't seem like she had a real destination.
It wasn't her looks that caught his attention. Honestly, she wasn't remarkably beautiful. Long brown hair, eyes green… face was pleasant enough, but no one would start wars over it.
No, what caught prince Orm's attention was the fact that she…looked out of place. She didn't look Atlantean, or a land dweller, there was something just…off.
Fluidly he turned to the guard beside him and whispered. "Can you run a face scan on her…I want to know who she is."
The guard looked at her and used a device to scan her face, Orm was waiting for the man to tell him who she was when suddenly the girl glanced over and up at him.
Her eyes narrowed looking at him and his companion, then her eyes got wide.
Orm heard the guards device let out a soft beep. "She's no in our records is she?" He deadpanned.
"No prince Orm." The guard solemnly answered.
He raised his voice. "Please capture her." His voice was cold and harsh, instantly the guards started swimming towards her, and Orm decided to go as well.
Instantly the girl suddenly bolted.
He stopped startled before continuing the chase. She was unfathomly fast. He could barely keep up with her, when the vehichles got involved she was starting to outpace them as well.
She was quickly reaching the edge of Atlantis, He got on the underwater intercom connecting all guards.
"Can someone put a tracker on a spear dart and hit her… I feel like were going to lose her. "
"Yes Prince Orm."
Almost a moment after he gave the order, one of the vehicles fired.
The prince stopped when he saw it strike her shoulder, and he heard a cry of pain. The sound made the royal Atlanteans heart freeze - she stopped only for a moment – well ahead of the vehicles, she proceeded to rip some of the dart away, some was still embedded in her shoulder.
Her stare feel on his for a brief second, it was long enough for him to register that she was in pain, shaking her head a bit she swam even faster, over the wall and disappeared into the darkness.
The former King was beside himself, rethinking his command. Had she really deserved that? Ever since he started trying to see things from his Mothers and Brothers point of view, hes also started questioning some of his more brutal tactics.
Giving then context he now wanted to find her more than ever… to apologize…or at least to see if she is alright.
