A/N: This came to my mind as an idea. This is my first ranger story that I actually wrote down so be nice. It will combine MMPR, PRDT, and PRMF later on.
Welcome to the life of Angel Danica Skullovitch, aka me, the poor little girl that lost her parents Eugene and Clarity Skullovitch. My dad was known as Skull to his friends, who are now known as my uncle and aunts. I figure it should be about time to get up, even if I was up since 5 am.
"ROCKY, HOW COULD YOU STEAL ALL THE FOOD I BROUGHT YESTERDAY. ANGEL NEEDED IT WHEN SHE WOKE UP. TODAY IS HER FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL AT REEFSIDE HIGH."
I went downstairs and found Uncle Rocky and Aunt Kimmy in the kitchen.
"Uncle Rocky," I signed. I figured it out that he stole the food yet again because of Aunt Kimmy's face showing anger. "Did you steal all the food that Aunt Kim bought yesterday," I signed as he looked down in shame. It was always Uncle Rocky, Dad (Jason), and me stealing food when Aunt Kimmy wasn't looking. Although, I didn't get in trouble as much as Uncle Rocky and Dad. I looked at the time then turned to Uncle Rocky, "You still coming with, because if you are, we are going to be late."
Uncle Rocky looked up and grabbed the keys as I grabbed my bag. He had to stay with me in the new school because we were not sure if anyone knew sign language. I got in the car and buckled in, still not trusting cars all that much. Uncle rocky must have sensed something because he grabbed my hand.
I learned how to eat from Rocky, dance from Zach, sleep from Adam, fighting from Dad, I believe in fair fights from Mom (Trini), Balance from Kimmy, Computer knowledge from Billy, and fashion from Aisha. Of course I had things I did before without learning from others. I had played Soccer and played drums and sang. Now I can't do any of that for one simple reason, my being deaf. I can still do the things I learned from my extended family, but I also write and read more than I use to.
We pulled into the parking lot and I got more nervous. What if nobody liked me, what if no one understood and I failed? Did anyone know sign language here? Uncle Rocky grabbed me hand and gave it a light squeeze, probably seeing the nerves on my face.
"Ready to go sweetie," He signed. He was the only one in the house that could sign, and it was actually nice but frustrating.
"Not really. What if no one understands me," I signed, voicing my thoughts.
"I'll be with you all day don't worry."
I nodded and got out of the car, grabbing my bag at the same time.
A/N: Tell me what you think.
