Sildow: Must you make everyone betray your characters?
Kage: Yes!
I stood on the pier, watching the sun come up. My brother would probably be looking for me by now, but I don't care. I am not going back. That town just has bad memories for me. All I took were my cards, and a letter. Nothing more.
My boyfriend betrayed me with my best friend. I couldn't believe it. I walked in when they were in the middle of kissing. That was the moment I decided that there was nothing more for me in that idiotic place.
Syaoron, my ex-boyfriend. I hate him with my life. Nobody betrays Kinomoto Sakura. No one! He is going to see a side of me that no one has ever seen.
Tomoyo, my so-called best friend. Yeah right. What kind of best friend would kiss their best friend's boyfriend. Oh well, soon she will be meeting up with a close friend of mine. The one I chose to be a Watcher. Which brings me to the next person.
Li Meiling. My only true friend left in this dimension. My chosen Watcher. She hates Syaoron and Tomoyo for betraying me more than I hate them myself, which is actually very strange. I just wish I could be there, watching as Syaoron and Tomoyo get tortured by her. She seems to love torturing people, being fourth in doing that. Kage, Hatoko, and Shadeon were before her.
"You could always go back in time, my dear, and watch it. But the only way you can do that is to accept your true destiny," a girl said.
I jumped up and turned around. A girl with black, wavy, shoulder length hair stood behind me. Her silver eyes sparkled as the sun rose as her glasses reflected her eyes. It was her.
"Kage-sama, I have made my choice. I have been betrayed before and to accomplish my destiny it would mean to fall in love again. And I don't want to be betrayed."
"You are not going to be betrayed."
"Sakura," a soft voice said. I turned around. It was Meiling. Behind her were Tomoyo and Syaoron.
"What have we got here?" I asked loudly so they could hear.
"Sakura!" Tomoyo screamed. "You have to help us. Meiling is possessed!"
"How many times do I have to tell you that I am not possessed!"
"Why are they here?" Kage asked.
Meiling turned to the owner of the voice. "Kage-sama, I just want to show Sakura-chan what I am going to do to these traitors."
"Your prisoners are escaping," Kage said in reply. Meiling gasped. Syaoron had summoned his sword and he and Tomoyo were dragging me away using magic.
"Let go of me!" I screamed.
"Don't worry, Sakura, we are going to take you back home," Li said.
I knew what I had to do. "Meiling, destroy them."
"With pleasure," she replied.
To Kage I said, "I accept my destiny. I will be the Princess of Light."
"Beautiful," she replied and the light took me in.
Kage: Yay! Of course, their memories have been replaced. As for Kero and Yue, Sakura left Kero at home and because she changed her magic, her aura was different so Yue couldn't track her.
