This is my first fanfic so pls bear with me here. Reviews are welcomed. I decided to do a contestshipping (May x Drew) fic coz I found dat Drew n May r easy 2 rhyme :P

Heartbeat
Drew's life was on the line,
Yet he might not be saved in time,
May stood by him holding his hand,
Crying and crying, kneeing on the land,
May held back tears and told him to fight,
Fight and fight with all his might,
"I don't wanna lose you Drew",
He smiled and nodded, he definitely knew,
Drew's heart wouldn't last long,
This is a poem not a song,
May knew this would happen, from the very start,
She knew the very problem, the problem of Drew's heart,
And then Drew said "I think it's time",
"No! this time, the clock won't chime,
Drew pulled her close and whispered in her ear,
"May, I love you, you are my dear"
May was taken aback, astounded, surprised,
She couldn't believe what was happening before her very eyes,
She suddenly remembered, it was all so clear,
Drew's very attempt to be near,
Then came silence, she didn't know what to say,
Her love for Drew had increased that day,
Drew then breathed his very last breath,
He finally put his sword in his sheath,
The last words he uttered were "I love you May",
But then May wished he would die another day,
Tears welled in May's eyes and then she just said,
"I knew this moment would happen, I really, really did,
I love you Drew, with all my heart,
And I wish that we would never part,"
That was the very last moment they spent together,
But May wished it would last forever,
Tears rolled down her cheeks and wouldn't stop flowing,
May knew she wouldn't sleep knowing,
That Drew was gone, gone for good,
May then, knew that she should,
Pick up and recover and start life anew,
But she couldn't do it without the help of Drew,
May stared at Drew and whispered softly,
"Drew, I'm really, really sorry,
Drew, you're my life, my love my friend,
I just wish you'd be here again,
You cheer me up when I'm feeling blue,
Now I'll rely on my memories of you,
I wish this wouldn't happen, Drew my friend,
I wish you'd be here till the end,
Drew, you gave me strength, courage and will,
You always did till………….
You breathed your last breath,
Till the time of your death,
Drew, you were so warm,
You protected me from harm,
I love you Drew, I'm sure you'll know,
That you too wished you didn't have to go,"
Those were May's last words to the body of Drew,
Now she was feeling very down and blue,
Her heart was very sore,
She couldn't take it anymore,
May had just lost Drew, her very best friend,
Who had promised to be there till the end,
May then wondered why she was weeping that badly,
And then she realized, sadly,
This was love, it was for real,
It wasn't like those crushes that she used to feel,
May was crying, crying like mad,
Then she realized that she had,
The choice to die or live another day,
She realized she could have her own way,
She then decided to end it that day,
She, too, would go away,
Her life then flashed before her eyes,
She then killed herself, much to everybody's surprise,
And so both of them were buried together,
'coz they couldn't love another than each other,
And so both of them are on their way,
This is the story of Drew and May,
