Tricked!

The Pirate King needs the greatest swordsman. Without his swordsman, the Pirate King would have been at a loss. By now, the greatest pirate Monkey D Luffy, would have been dead without his help. The greatest swordsman ever, Roronoa Zolo, would have been a simple pirate hunter without the encouraging push his Captain gave him every time he doubted himself. Now we've established the basic context of them being only half of their usual selves without the other, let the story begin.

Monkey D Luffy was standing on the cliff that was overlooking deep ocean. Chaser was advancing toward him, but Luffy didn't show the slightest bit of worry as the smoking freak approached.

"This is your end Pirate King." Chaser snarled. Luffy simply smiled and did the button up on the front of his captain's coat.

"Don't think so." Luffy replied. He glanced behind him towards the water and saw a green head bob to the surface.

"Only water back there. Nowhere to run." Chaser said. Luffy just smiled and took another step back. He put a hand up and Chaser tensed, ready to fight. Luffy waved and stepped off, confident his swordsman would save him. Chaser yelled a resounding,

"NO!" and turned himself into smoke and leapt down the cliff to land on a rock at the base. It was then he saw Roronoa Zolo swimming back towards the legendary Merry Go, the Pirate King's ship.

"Damn, almost had him that time." Chaser snarled before he smoked himself and went back up the cliff.

Zolo deposited Luffy on the deck and the Pirate King coughed…and laughed.

"How many times have we used that and he still falls for it?" Luffy laughed, holding his stomach he was laughing so hard.
Red legged Sanji walked out of the kitchen, followed by the best thief and the woman who had mapped out the world, Nami. Usopp the sea Warrior strode out as well, slingshot in hand. Out came the man beast, Tony Tony Chopper and last of all the limb sprouting archaeologist, Nico Robin. They all gathered around their laughing captain and chuckling first mate. Chaser was watching from the cliff. Luffy stood up and jumped onto the ram's head, standing tall as his coat billowed out behind him. Zolo stood at the rail behind his captain and the rest of the crew gathered around. They held up their arms, fists raised.

"LONG LIVE PIRATE KING LUFFY!" They cried. Luffy smiled and his dark eyes twinkled from under his straw hat. He was the king, and he didn't plan on giving up that title soon.

Blah, blah. I don't know what will actually happen and whether Luffy will become Pirate King, all I know is I am so sick of frigging Cartoon Network (only supply of One Piece I can get my beady little eyes on) going back and repeating the same episodes twenty times over! Grrrr! Anyway, reviews please.
