Hey guys, I may go down as the person who messed up the formatting on xyr first fic. Well, here's another fic. Hopefully, without a messed up format.
"I am…not certain about this." the German said slowly, and Joseph looked at his husband. "Cocotte, we haven't even gotten in the store yet." Joe sighed, and Theodore nodded. "Yes, but are you sure you want to go take me clothes shopping?"
With a click of the tongue, Joe kissed his lover on the cheek. "Mon petit, you know I do." Theodore let out a short breath, halfway worried. "Joseph, I know you are a bit…eager, so please don't get carried away, alright."
Joseph smiled and kissed him on the cheek. What could go wrong?
"I want these socks."
Joseph turned around and saw brown socks in the German's hands. "Hon, everything we've put in the cart today has been a dull color. Don't you want something brighter? Or maybe more saturated?" In a deadpan tone, Kaiser explained, "I haven't found a lot of 'brighter' things that are both comfortable and not straining to my eyes."
Sighing, Joseph took the socks and put it in the basket, guiding his husband to another aisle. "You're looking at the wrong places in this store."
Joe sighed as Kaiser held an olive green shirt. "Mon petit, I just said I could get you brighter things."
Smiling nervously, he told the Frenchman, "I think I'd look good in it." After a moment, Joseph laughed softly and shook his head at the floor. "Okay, you do look good in that. But I'm sure you'd look good in happier looking colors."
"Happier?" Joseph nodded and grabbed a baby blue neckerchief. "Like this. Why don't you try it on?"
Confusedly, the Berliner put it on and looked in a mirror. After a brief moment, he burst in laughter. "I look so weird in this!" he laughed, then handed the neckerchief to him as he finished laughing. "Schatz, thank you, but I think this would look better on you."
Verre put it on and his love nodded. "I told you so. Come on, why don't we try on other things? Maybe we can broaden your closet too."
They pushed the cart out once they got it all paid for. They didn't buy a lot, but they did get nice looking clothes and some good laughs at themselves.
