Chapter 1
My alarm clock woke me up that morning. An alarm clock that I didn't think I would need until that morning. I am Son Gohan, and today was my first official day at Orange Star High school.
"Gohan get up! You are not being late for your first day of school if I have anything to say about it!" Said my, no offense, beast of a mother.
I groaned. School was going to be so awkward. I haven't had much socialization with kids my age. I am going to have to try hard to hide my half saiyan powers from them. But I'll worry about that when the time comes.
I got up out of my bed and raced to the bathroom for a shower and to brush my teeth. Being the first day of school and all, I wouldn't want my new classmates to think I am a slob.
After I showered, brushed, and clothed myself, I headed downstairs to be greeted by a large breakfast cooked specially for my first day. I immediately sat down and scarfed down more than my share of food. I tend to eat even more when I'm nervous.
"Hey big brother!" My little brother Goten said.
"Hey buddy." I replied.
"I hope you're ready for school Gohan because you need to leave soon." My mother, Chi Chi said.
I looked at the clock by the front door and it read 7:12.
"Well I'd love to stay and chat, I really would, but I have to go." I said as I started to exit the kitchen.
"Bye!" Chi Chi and Goten said in unison.
I walked out of the door and flew towards my new school.
As I was flying towards the school at speeds that would rival a plane's, I heard a terrified scream.
"Help! Help me!" A female voice shrieked.
Aww, not now. I have somewhere I need to be. I looked across the immediate area to find the screamer. I looked bellow me and found her. She was surrounded by four thugs, all dressed in black. They all looked pretty menacing, to most.
"Come here,baby. We don't want to hurt you. Just a kiss." Said the tallest and overall biggest of his group. Must be the leader.
"No, leave me alone you big jerk!" The frightened lady said.
As I watched this all go down, I decided on a course of action. I will help her. I quickly transformed into my super saiyan form. I dropped down next to the woman. She was short, with wavy dark brown hair. She was wearing a long green dress with matching high heels.
"Leave her alone." I said to the thugs.
"What are you gonna do about it, kid?" The leader replied. His buddies laughed at me, if only they knew what I could do. If they don't leave, they'll find out soon enough.
"Just leave her alone."
The leader started walking towards me. He threw a slow and sloppy punch that I easily deflected, he stated at me like I grew a second head. He ran at me this time, so I sidestepped him and kicked him in his back. He went toppling to the ground. Before he got the chance to get up, I rushed to him and chopped his neck. Instantly knocking him out.
"Who's next?" I asked.
"You little punk." A short, fat, and ugly, thug said.
They all charged me and I became a blur. In 3 seconds, the rest of the thugs were piled on top of their leader.
"Are you alright ma'am?" I asked.
She quickly nodded and muttered a thank you. She walked out of the alley and out of sight.
I flew up and out of the alley and towards school, and of course, I was ten minutes late for my first day.
