Hey guys this is my first attempt at writing so please be nice and leave a review.
Disclaimer: I do not own any of this except the story.
"Hey, do you remember when we first met?" Percy asked with a smirk. Annabeth look up from his chest. " Of course I do. You spilled coffee on me."
"It was an accident!". "Don't worry. I forgive you," she replied while laughing.
"I'll have a hot cappuccino. Large please."
Annabeth payed the cashier and waited for her coffee a few minutes. "This place sure is empty,"
she muttered.
When its ready, she said thanks and head to the door. As she head out, she took her phone from her bag.
"Watch out!" someone shouted from her left. The next thing Annabeth realized is that she is on the ground, the content of her cup is emptied on herself.
"Holy shit that's hot, thank god it's cold outside," she looked at the stranger that hit her. " What the hell?"
"I'm so so sorry. I hit an ice patch," he said sheepishly. He took his skateboard and offered her a hand.
Annabeth glared and got up on her own. "No thanks. I don't want to fall again."
"Okay I deserved that. Again, I'm so sorry. I'll buy you another coffee. Sorry for the jacket though. I will pay you back."
He took Annabeth's hand and dragged her back into the coffee shop. " So what do you want?"
She sighed and ordered the same one."I'm going to the washroom. You better still be here." After a few minutes she came back.
He handed her the coffee along with 50 dollars."Here's your money. For the sweater."
Annabeth looked at the money and him back and forth before taking it. "It's fine. Just be careful next time. You're lucky I'm not in a hurry."
He smiled and stuck out his hand." We got off on the wrong foot. Let's start over. Hi. I'm Percy."Annabeth observed him. Huh, he's kind of cute actually. She finally succumbs and took his hand and smiled. "Hi, I'm Annabeth."
After that, Percy offered to walk with her. " So, I never see you around here. Are you new?" he asked with a smile."Yeah I just moved here a few days ago. I met this guy earlier. Apparently he thinks it's a good idea to skate during winter.
Percy laughed. " Wow he sounds awesome."
Oh my god he have a cute laugh.
" You know, I actually work at that coffee shop. Today is my day off," he said. "Oh really? Are you in college?" Annabeth replied.
"Yeah." They walked in silence for a few minutes when Annabeth stopped in front of a tall building.
"So this is my place." He looked at the building up and down.
"I live across the street at that apartment," he said while pointing at another apartment.
"I guess we'll see each other around then?" Annabeth asked.
"Sure," he answered with a huge grin.
Annabeth went to the coffee shop almost everyday since then.
"It's still hard to believe we're here now," Percy said with a sigh.
"You don't think we could make it?" Annabeth asked playfully. "You know I don't mean it that
way," he replied with a smile.
"Yeah I do," she glanced at the ring that now occupied her finger.
Percy pulled her into a kiss. "I love you."
"I love you too."
