Chapter 1

In the town of Todayland, at a former abandon building in the lower rings of San Fransokyo, the building was fixed up nice and neat as it had a sign on the building that was sticking out so everyone can see it. The logo sign was a all white ghost posed as if it was caught in a act, as he was inside of a red skip sign.

Inside of the building was middle age women who is old enough to be a mother, who had red short hair wearing green glasses, blue necklace pearls, yellow earrings, and wearing a yellow skirt with matching high heels. This women was the secretary of the business that she currently works for as this job was very stressful, let alone depending on what type of business it was as it involves catching paranormal entities or what it's called ghosts. This women had a lot of experience in that area weather it is getting processed by one or dealing with one, she liked the job once but after years it gets very crazy. As of now typing away on her laptop while having a sharpened pencil behind her ear, as she was swearing under her breath typing up some last minute paperwork to start her crazy busy morning.

"I can't freaking believe I didn't read my employment contract when I got hired." She said typing away on her computer while still rambling on. "After all these years the guys have have solding me after taking a huge billion dollar deal to sell every tech, car, and the whole business to a rich boy and his friends in Todayland." The womens thoughts were on hold as she heard footsteps coming down the stairs as her new bosses came down with smiles on their faces as each three had something behind their backs. "Good morning Ms. Melnitz." said all the boys with grins on their faces.

Stopping from typing even more as the women was known as Janine Melnitz, the former secretary of the Ghostbusters who is now working for Team Ghostbusters as the name didn't change except an add on to the business name. She looked at the three teens and said "Good morning Wilbur, Hiro, Miguel. How can I help you boys this time?." The three grinned as she was waiting patiently for them to say something and took out the gifts that were behind their backs, and sat them down on her desk making her feel shock to see. "G... G... G... Gifts?." that's all Janine can say. The boys grinned from ear to ear seeing the reaction from their secretary, as the three had planned on buying gifts to make Janine feel right at home in Todayland.

Janine take a good look at the gifts that were on her desk as one of them belonged to Hiro, who brought her an expensive Victoria Secret perfume as the other give was a Day of the Dead snow globe indicating this gift was from Miguel, and finally the last gift was a big stand out of the them all. Sitting right in front of her was a diamond pearl necklace straight from Todayland's topped Diamond store. "Oh wow, oh wow!. Boys these are the best gifts that I ever gotten." Janine told them grabbing the box that had the diamond pearl necklace in it and went try it on, as Wilbur was satisfied to see her happy and can't wait to create a great friendship with the women and so did the others.

"We're glad that you like the gifts that we brought for you Miss. Melnitz." Miguel said went around to hug Janine making her heart melt for happiness.

"Ah you kids are alright with me!." Janine broke the hug "In fact this is the best appreciation that I ever had!." This happy moment came to a holt when the phone on her desk ranged, making the professional secretary pick up the phone and answered like she always does when someone is calling for service. "Team Ghostbusters?. We're open to the public twenty-four hours a day...how can I help you?." Janine said hearing the persons complaint making her grab a pin a paper and begin writing something down. The three watched her do her thing hearing Janine asking the person questions such as the location and address to the building and hanged up and looked at the three with a smile. "Well?." asked Hiro being curious.

"Well...you kids got your first customer. There's been a sighting of ghosts in Metropolis Hotel and the owner of that place need you three down there immediately." Janine said handed Wilbur the paper.

"Uh, okay well let's do this thing!." Miguel said running towards the dressing wardrobe and got his signature Ghostbusters uniform as both Hiro and Wilbur ran up to put theirs on as Janine went to get her uniform as well, since this was part of the agreement when they told her she was moving to Todayland she demanded to come on their ghost missions. Plus, They needed the money so she can pay off the final car note on the Ghostbusters car and she was the boys driver. They packed up in their uniform, loaded up the car with the newly upgraded proton packs that Hiro had made from the old versions and upgraded the other equipments as well, and so that's that. They hopped in the car and drove off in full speed, turning on the sirens to avoid traffic and such as Janine can't help but smile to hear the boys so hyped for their first ghost busting and calming this will be anan easy job.

"Wait until you see what ghost busting is all about." Janine told them making a sharp turn to the left and speed forward.

"We can't wait...right guys?." asked Hiro.

"You're right!." said Both Wilbur and Miguel who were messing with the equipment.

Janine just roll her eyes in amusement as she had a feeling that living in Todayland and working for the kids wouldn't be this bad, that she thought it would be but hey, there's nothing wrong about giving a brand new start a chance.

"At least I will what it feels like to have kids." Janine smirked.
