A/N: This is my monologue for Performing Arts. It's heavily based on the Saga Of Evil. It's also very short since our pieces can't be longer than 5 minutes (this is about 2:59) R&R please, because this is super important for my acting career!

I am… I was Princess Rin. My pride was my downfall.

I had it all. My home was littered with the finest furniture, my beloved horse was beautiful and strong, I had all the treasures I could possibly want and my servants were loyal. The world was mine. There was only one person I would ever think of sharing any of my possessions with. His name was Len. He was my servant. He was my twin.

I know it's strange, and you're probably wondering how my sibling ended up serving me? It's not as complicated as it seems. You see, we were born into royalty, but for selfish reasons that I don't understand, mother gave Len to a servant girl. As we grew up, we got used to our roles. People often commented on how my "favourite servant" and I looked so similar.

My brother would do anything I asked, so it was really no bother for him when I asked him for the most selfish favour possible. It was no secret that the prince from overseas had turned down my proposal of marriage, but when I discovered the reason my fury engulfed me. My prince was engaged to a young lady known as the Lady of Green. It didn't take many tears to get Len to kill her.

As soon as the deed was done, Len returned to my side. How bowed lowly and announced; "Today's snack is Brioche." I smiled, knowingly.

I had never felt so proud. I didn't realise the burden I had forced upon my long-suffering brother. My pride led to the worst punishment ever…

Not before long angry townsfolk came to overthrow me. We weren't angry because we deserved it, rightly so. Despite this, Len turned to me and began to dress himself in my clothes.

"Listen close, here I will lend you my clothes.
Put them on so that you won't be exposed.
Now quick, run, make sure that you don't fall.
Do not worry, Princess. We are twins after all."

Then, finally, the bell that announced the end rang. Without looking up to the crowd that had gathered to witness the death of the Princess, Len spoke my line.

"Oh, it's tea time."

I was Princess Rin. I was proud. My pride led to my brothers death. And I'll never forgive myself.
