FullMetal Alchemist

Edward Elric leaned back in his office chair; he just finished his paperwork, so the silence is causing him to be bored to death. He picked up the phone and told the operator to place a call to his wife, Winry. The phone rang and after about three rings, someone picked up. ''Hello?'' Ed recognized the voice; it was his younger brother, Alphonse. '' Hey, al, I just wanted to call to say that I might be late tonight.'' There was silence on the other end. ''And why is that brother?'' Edward sighed and looked out the window. '' So much is going on here, so I'm not sure when I'll be home. Is Winry home?'' Al called for Winry and she dashed to the phone.'' Ed! I have to tell you something!'' Ed titled his head away from the phone. '' What is it?'' There was a pause. '' Ed, I think you should come home, I want to tell you face to face.'' Ed sighed and told her that his on his way. He got up and walked out of his of his office. ''Are you leaving, sir?'' He nodded. Ed got into car and drove home. As he came up the road, he noticed that all the lights in the house were on. He got out of the car and walked up the steps. He was about to open the door when Al opened it. ''Welcome home, brother!'' He smiled, and nodded.'' Thanks Al.'' They both walked into the living room where Winry and Granny Pinako sat talking. '' Hey Winry.'' Ed said as he took off his military jacket. ''Well, welcome home colonel.'' Pinako smiled. He smiled back. ''WELCOME HOME ED!'' Winry exclaimed jumping into her husband's arms. He smiled as he hugged her back. '' So, what was so important that you couldn't tell me on the phone?'' Winry leaned into him and whispered in his ear. Pinako and Alphonse laughed at his expressions. Ed leaned back to look at Winry. ''What brought all this on?'' She smiled as she wrapped her legs around his waist. He got the idea. ''Alright Winry.'' Al and Pinako smiled at each other, then at the couple. Winry kissed him passionately on the lips. Ed started to walk to the kitchen, when he realized that Winry was still attached to his torso.

Winry wouldn't let go of him, or let him out of her sight. She pouted every time he had to leave for work. One morning, as Ed was getting ready for work, she just started crying. Ed walked over to his wife.

Wnry looked up at him.
