"Do you love me, Lawli?" Beyond asked, looking up at L with wide, blood red eyes. L ran his fingers through Beyond's thick black hair. "Of course I do, B." he said pressing a kiss to the younger's forehead. Beyond sat up, turning to face his older lover. "But Lawli. How much do you love me?" L took a lollipop from the nightstand and gave it a small lick. "Well, I love you more than anything you could possibly imagine. I would do anything for you."
B considered this for a while. "If I wanted you to stop eating sweets, would you do that for me?" L frowned slightly. "Beyond, you know that I-" he stopped. "Of course I would. Only for you." As if to prove that he was serious, L pulled the sucker out of his mouth and threw it in the garbage. B smiled and leaned forward to kiss him. Pulling back, he asked, "And if I told you to get rid of Watari because only I can take care of you?" L pulled the young genius into his arms. "I'll call him right now if that would make you happy." He said, his usually monotonous voice filled with emotion. Beyond snuggled deeper into L's chest. "It's okay, Lawlipop. You don't have to do any of that stuff. I know you love me. But just one more thing." He reached into his pocket, pulling out a pocket knife and flicking it open. He made a cut along his arm, watching in fascination as the blood spilled out. "Would you let me cut you open so I could really know all of you? Would you give me your heart or would I have to take it?" At this, B rolled over and placed his knife on L's bare chest. L's eyes widened in fear. "Y-yes." He said, hoping that the younger wasn't serious. Beyond's mouth opened in a wide bloodstained grin. "Great." He said, and pressed down the blade.
A/N: Well then. Would you let B cut you open and take out your heart? I'm not quite sure I would. But that would depend on the circumstances. ;-)
I'm planning as multi chaptered Matt x Mello fic, by the way. Is that something anybody would be interested in? I'm also looking for a long term beta if you know of or are one.
