As a child I rescued an injured Magikarp and nursed it back to health. Years later,having been given an empty Pokeball by my father,one of the last gifts he gave me before his death, I captured it.

When I was ten Stormy,thats the Magikarp's name, evolved. Three days later,just a day after the schools exams had finished, my mother told me my father,her ex-husband, had died shortly before exams were to begin.

Five years later I'm a bus ride to Pallet town to receive a Pokedex and Beginners trainer kit.
