Author's note: This is a super short one, but I hope you like it anyway. I advise you to read all the way till the last sentence! ;D

/Editted: I've changed the mistake of "Little Brother Clovis" to "Big Brother Clovis". Thank you reviewer flameguy! :)

Euphemia loved everything about her seventh birthday party.

She liked the new pink silk dress she wore for the party, enjoyed the sweet cake that the Royal Chef had baked, and adored all of the special guests who attended, comprising of the entire Imperial Britannian Family.

But like any child, little Euphemia looked most forward to receiving her birthday gifts.

Father & Mother gave her a gorgeous glittering star sapphire pendant, Euphemia's first piece of jewellery that she owned.

Aunt Marianne gave her a pretty little doll, a doll wearing an exquisite dress which she herself had sewn and embroidered.

Big Brother Schneizel gave her a new book of tales, one filled with fantastical creatures and maidens with marvellous adventures, promising to read it to her every night.

Big Sister Cornelia gave her a darling white pony, saying that she was old enough to start riding with them all.

Big Brother Clovis gave her a portrait of herself, one he secretly sketched when she was playing in the gardens, hoping to capture her youthful exuberance and liveliness.

Little Nunnally gave her a lovely garland of roses which she had made herself, with some help from Marianne, childishly declaring that Euphemia was Princess of the Flowers.

To Euphemia, they were all wonderful gifts.

But there was one gift she loved most of all. A gift she treasured more than all the other gifts she received. A gift she hoped to receive at every one of her birthdays, if possible.

...

For her seventh birthday, Lelouch gave Euphemia a kiss. Her first kiss. A kiss so sweet and sincere.

It was definitely the greatest gift of all. The most special one.

Especially because it was from Lelouch.
