A/N: Okay, this is my first one-shot for Inuyasha. It was a request from a hardcore Inuyasha fan and a really good friend of mine. After I wrote it, I thought 'Why not post it and see what the other Inuyasha fans think about it?' So here it is!!!
Disclaimer: I do NOT own Inuyasha. I don't even own any of the books. I did read some of the beginning and the end of it. So basically, I don't know the overall plotline very well, nor do I know all of the characters. But I do hope that this one-shot will be satisfactory.
I felt my heart beat in my throat as I stood outside the Lord's room. He had just recruited me to his side and I'm very nervous about working with him. After all, I am in love with him.
"How long are you going to stand there, my dear? You should come in." a low, smooth voice called out. I nearly jumped out of my skin.
"H-hai, right away!" I stuttered, kneeling down and opening the door.
The Lord's room was plain with only one window. The room had an eerie glow to it with a dark twist. The Lord himself was seated by the window, looking at me with such dark eyes, I felt an icy chill down my spine. He motioned for me to sit. I obliged, timidly strode over and kneeled in front of him.
"My Lord," I began, "what do you expect of me?"
"You do not need to be so tense." he told me softly. I felt something wrap around my waist. It was the Lord's tentacle. I shivered.
"My Lord, please, do not tease me." I said quietly.
"Does it bother you?" His hand caressed my cheek lightly. "And you shouldn't use 'My Lord', my dear. 'Naraku' sounds more appropriate coming from."
"Please do not tease me." I repeated, grimacing inwardly as I pushed away both his tentacle and arm away. I couldn't help but blush slightly at his soft skin. "I must ask you again, Naraku-sama, what do you expect of me?"
"Ah, much better. Alright, since you insist so strongly, I will oblige and tell you." Naraku said, smirking slightly. "As you know, I have recruited you for the large amount of power you posses. Now I understand you do not have full control over it and I will allow you to train it whenever you wish, just as long you have completed your mission. I expect great things from you, my girl, so do not fail me."
"I understand." I said, bowing.
"Should you fail me, however, or defy me in any way," His hand was caressing my cheek again. I felt my face turn red. "You will be punished."
"I understand, Naraku-sama." I repeated.
"Good." Naraku's hand cupped my chin and he softly planted a small kiss on my lips. "You may leave, now."
I nodded, got up and left the room, closing the door behind me. By now, my heart was beating incredibly fast. The Naraku had kissed me!
Damn. I feel like I'm going to faint. That was really unexpected of him to that to me. Something tells me I'm going to have one hell of a time working for him.
"Just hope he doesn't pin you to the bed." My face went beet red.
"P-please don't say that, Kagura-sama!" I squeaked. She gave a soft chuckle, turned and left.
Geez! I nearly had a heart attack, damn you! Knowing Naraku-sama, he's probably just teasing me! He wouldn't do that! ...would he....?
"Don't think like that!" I scolded myself, shaking my head. I gave myself a small smack and began walking to my room. "The last thing I need is some perverted thoughts to keep me from doing things right! If something does happen, I'll worry about it then!"
It's a bit short, but I think that's okay. For right now, I've been thinking about doing one-shot requests along with some of my own. See my profile for more information.
