What If One More Day never happened?
Peter Parker stared hopelessly at his aunt may. He had so much power but he couldn't save her. He angrily ran out the doors of the hospital and put on his costume. He started to web to Dr. Strange's house. He walked in and said quietly, "my aunts dying" "Peter I'm sorry-"he cut him off "can you help her?" he sighed sadly. "A dark demon has been suppressing my powers; I have to deal with this threat. He will try and destroy our dimension" Peter tried to say something but Dr. Strange replied, "I'm sorry but this a global threat" Peter angrily started to leave. He went to everyone that he knew, but for some strange reason none of them could help his aunt. He was going to go back to the hospital when he saw a little girl. The little girl slowly started to walk towards him. Suddenly the little girl started to transform. She crackled sickly as she transformed. Peter stared blankly at the demon before him. "I know how much you love you're Aunt Peter" his voice was sly and sinister. It reeked of cold lies and the bitter truth and every word he spoke seemed to sound convincing and full of wisdom. "I would be willing to save her Peter….of course I would want something in return" he grinned and chuckled. "I want your love for Mary Jane" Peter couldn't believe what he had heard. "Parker doesn't know that I prevented his friends from helping him so he would have to turn to me for help" Mephisto continued to smile. "Plus I will let everyone forget your secret" Peter looked down at his mask. Suddenly Mary Jane and Aunt May both appeared. "I will let you say goodbye to them" Peter stared at Mary Jane. "Save your aunt, be a hero….be my hero" Mary Jane said as she kissed him. Peter could save his aunt and protect his family. The deal was tempting and he wanted to accept it with all his heart and soul, but then he remembered something. It was a small part of him but it told him, "with great power comes great responsibility" Peter boldly told Mephisto. "No" Mephisto couldn't believe what he had heard. He was surprised that he hadn't been able to corrupt him. "But I'm offering you what you have always wanted" Peter slowly said, "With great power comes great responsibility" Mephisto disappeared obviously disappointed. He went to Aunt May's room and cried. "And this is my responsibility" and then Aunt May's machine started to beep and she died.
