He surveys the multitude of flowers lying at his feet. He's glad the old woman was thoughtful enough to wrap them all, although he's beginning to think maybe he should've just paid her so she could keep the flowers. After all, how was he going to get rid of them all?

While he is thinking about this problem, his conversation with Riza runs through his head. Regardless of what she'd said, she was obviously rattled by something. He's spent enough time with her over the years to know when something is bothering her. Usually it's just him and his awe-inspiring procrastination, but now…

He hopes it's nothing as serious as Wrath doing or saying something to her, but he knows better than to be optimistic at the moment.

A bouquet of tulips catches his eye, her favourite flower, and he decides to send them to her, despite her protestations. She might, no, will be mad at him but he thinks she could use some extra colour. He also gathers a bunch containing irises and gardenias before heading to her apartment.

He hopes she doesn't catch him. He can only imagine how quickly she'll whip out her gun.

She sighs as soon as she catches sight of them.

She had told him she didn't need any flowers. It was so typical of him to ignore her anyway.

But she cannot help the small smile on her face as she gathers the flowers to bring them in. At least he had bought her a vase… and she admits it is rather nice: he obviously had good taste. She catches sight of the tulips and her smile widens.

It was a nice start to the day after a sleepless night.

She's very surprised, however, to find another bouquet on her desk when she arrives for work. She notices a small card and quickly pulls it out to read.

I'm here for you.

She smiles and pockets the card.
