"Kagami… did you make this?" Konata motioned towards a cup of instant noodles steaming on the table.
"Give me some credit, Konata. Even I can add boiling water to something!" Kagami huffed.
"No, instant noodles are harder to make than you'd think!" At Kagami's sceptical look, Konata continued, "Like when you add the hot water and leave the lid on for a bit to soften the noodles… but then you forget that you left them there and when you finally remember, the noodles are all soggy!"
Konata's earnest expression softened Kagami's own, before, "Only you would have that problem, idiot."
