Author's Note: I do not own Guardians of the Galaxy or any other sort of media I will use in my fanfic. Also, I could not find a cartoon or tv show category of Guardians of the Galaxy on this website. It only existed in the movie category.

If you watch the current season of the tv series, Guardians of the Galaxy, on Disney XD, you learned by now the Collector framed the Guardians and have shrunken the kree planet, Hala. The Collector was then defeated by the Guardians and Phyla-Vell, but then set his ship to self-destruct before he escaped. While Hala resizes and Phyla-Vell flies it away from the Collector's base, the Guardians try to deactivate the ship's countdown, but are unable to do so. Gamora then remembers a mirror she saw in the ship's collection known as the Black Vortex with its own different animated universes and living entity. With no other option left, the Guardians enter the Black Vortex before the ship detonates and are seperated from each other. This then leads the series to a four part episode.

In my version of the Black Vortex, the Guardians of the Galaxy will go through a different sort of media dimension of my choosing. Later chapters may contain inappropriate content that makes this fanfic unsuitable for young viewers alike. I hope you will enjoy!

The Guardians are at the ship's control bridge, where they are piloting the Collector's ship away from the planet Hala that is resizing. Since they failed to prevent the ship's explosion, the Guardians decided to accept their fate of perishing in the explosion.

"Okay, good news is, we saved the shrunken Kree home world, which is expanding back to its normal size." Starlord said. "The bad news..."

"Self-destruct in two minutes," said the computer system.

"...is barely self-explanitory." Starlord puts on his headphones. "This is it, everyone." He then presses a button on his music player.

"Peter, wait," said Gamora. "Did you see that mirror in the weapons vault?"

"You mind, Gamora?" Starlord said while listening to music. "I'm trying to spend my final moments in this galaxy with some mid-70s one hit wonders."

"They may not have to be your final moments. That mirror is called the Black Vortex. Thanos said it was an indestructible prison."

"Drax approves of indestructible," said Drax.

"Yeah, well, Rocket don't approve of no prison." Rocket ranted out.

"I am Groot." Groot said to Rocket.

"Good point, bud," Rocket said as he agreed with Groot. "Ain't a prison in the galaxy I can't escape."

"The thing is, this prison isn't exactly in the galaxy," said Gamora.

O-O-O-O

The Guardians are standing before the Black Vortex, staring at their dark aberrant reflections in the mirror.

"I don't know, Gamora," said Starlord. "This thing looks like, super evil."

Groot extends his arm and waves his finger on its surface, creating a series of small waves overlapping from his finger.

"Self-destruct in fifteen seconds," said the computer.

"Who I am to judge?"

"Everyone hold hands so we don't get seperated," said Gamora.

Rocket holds Gamora's hand and then joins hands with Drax, who then holds hands with Starlord.

"I am Groot!" cried Groot as he extends his tendril-like arms and wraps them around the other Guardians.

The Guardians are engulfed by a light emitted from the Black Vortex that obscures them front entering. When the light died, Groot's branch tendrils were the last seen to be entering the mirror.

Author's Note: Well, that's my prologue. I actually copied that opening scene from the four part episode. In my first chapter in the Black Vortex, Starlord will find himself in the fantasy world of the anime, Re:Zero (that's right, I'm adding anime to this fanfiction of mine), where he portrays as the main character, Subaru Natsuki, and meets with Spirit Arts user, Emilia. I will cover the first three episodes of the anime, and I promise to work on it as soon as I can!
