Traveling Man

Dean sat slumped over a table in Bobby's living room perusing yet another dusty tome. He muttered out loud, "Wayfarers peregrination across such hallowed ground requires exaction contracted in blood." He rubbed at his eyes. "Man, whoever wrote this makes my brain hurt," he grumped.
"It means people who travel over that land must pay a toll," Sam translated helpfully.
"I know that, genius. Just making a point. Now I'm about to travel over to the couch; help me over there."
Sam scowled but went to Dean's side. "Why don't you use your crutches?"
"'Cause this is way more fun."
