Ash Ketchum wakes up one morning and gets out of bed.
He looks at himself in the mirror with disgust like he does almost every other morning. Ash is now forty five, has no friends, no family, and no girlfriend.
How did this happen, you may ask?
It all happened when Ash turned fifteen. After five years of traveling throughout the world visiting many regions and facing many gym leaders, Ash realized that he never once had become a champion of the league. Each time he participated in one he came so close but was always defeated by someone who was slightly better than him.
Ash always was upset after losing a battle but he always kept all of his pain inside him so his trusty pal Pikachu wouldn't see. Ash loved his Pikachu and Pikachu loved Ash but after one battle against some random trainer Pikachu was fatally injured.
Ash rushed Pikachu to the nearest Pokemon Center and Nurse Joy was able to keep Pikachu alive. The only problem was that Pikachu was injured so badly that he would never battle again.
Ash decided the best thing to do was release his Pikachu into the wild. He wanted to let Pikachu live out his final days where he belonged.
Soon after this Ash became quite depressed. He tried to get help but no one would help him. He talked to his mom but she wouldn't listen because she was too busy pleasing her new boyfriend. He talked to Professor Oak but in his old age he wasn't much help. He tried to talk to Brock and Misty but both of them moved to some far away region that Ash had never heard of.
Ash decided that he's had enough of life's horrors and moved to a little remote island.
He built his own cabin and grew all of his own food so that he'd never have to leave his house. Before he left he gave all of his Pokemon to the little kid's in Pallet Town so he didn't have to go through the pain of releasing them.
Ash moved to the island when he was only twenty and he's been living there for twenty five years.
Ash has been living in isolation and the only human interaction he had was when someone came to deliver his packages, until this day. There was a knock at his door. It was quite an unexpected knock because Ash wasn't expecting a delivery. He opened the door and saw a man.
Ash recognized this man, it was the same man who fatally injured his Pikachu all those years ago. The man said he heard what happened after their battle on that day and he came to apologize. After hearing the words I'm sorry come out of that man's mouth Ash broke down in tears. Ash looked the man in the eyes and said thank you for apologizing, I think I'm ready to go home.
Ash packed up his things and got onto to a boat that headed for the Kanto Region. The man didn't get on the boat with Ash and he asked why he wasn't going with him.
The man said that he lived in the Johto region and that he needed to get home to check on his Rattata and his son Joey Junior. The End!
