Title: Book 1: Rico and the mermaid's kingdom
A: Welcome everyone to my first book that I plan on making into a series. That's what the book 1 in the title stands for. Now the great thing is that this series is planned all into being about the ocean. The bad thing is that there are a lot of ocs in these books. Many of which you won't find on my profile since they won't be in any other story. Anyway if you get past that please enjoy the series!

Rated- T for language, blood, murder, and slight sexual talk (mostly by Julian)
OCS in Book 1: Tim the sea snake, Density the mermaid, Willie the merman, and Gloria the mermaid queen
Characters- Rico and Skipper
Pairings: Density/Private, Tim/Stacy, and Gloria/Skipper
chapter 1: Normal day, but creepy night
3rd person's pov
It was a normal day in central park zoo. Skipper and his men were training for the 13th time that day. Julian was posing in front of a mirror. Maurice was making his royal 'king' a smoothie out of mango's. Mort was slowly creeping toward Julian's feet. Marlene was diving into her pool practicing her techniques for the visitors the next day.
Marlene decided to stop, and see what the penguins were doing. So she went over to their habitat while they were still training. Marlene tapped Skipper on the shoulder, and Skipper quickly turned around, and flipped her. Marlene landed on the ground in a swift movement. Skipper saw it was her, and got off of her. Marlene got up and dusted herself off.
"Really Skipper?" Marlene said while still dusting her fur off. "Marlene I told you not to sneak up on me" Skipper said angrily. "Excuse me for interrupting your training class" Marlene said sarcastically. Marlene noticed something shine behind him. She pushed past him, and looked down at the shiny object with Skipper yelling behind her.
She picked up a shiny necklace, and looked it over. It looked like it was plastic. She turned to the penguins with the necklace still tightly in grasp. She looked to Rico believing the necklace belonged to dolly.
She approached Rico, and held out the necklace to Rico. Rico took it out of her hands, and looked at it. "I think this belongs to dolly" she said to Rico, and jumped out of the habitat. Skipper watched her leave and turned back to his men. "Err... I guess we're done today. good work men" Skipper said to them. Kowalski and Private saluted Skipper, but Rico stared at the strange necklace.
At night Rico came to his doll lying against the wall. He put the necklace around dolly's neck, and kissed her on the forehead. He whispered good night to her, and went to his own bunk. While he was asleep the necklace started glowing.
The necklaces glow kept up for 5 minutes and surrounded the doll. Then the doll disappeared into thin air, and smoke was all that was left in the area...
A: Short right? Well that's how prologues go huh?
