I do not own Percy Jackson I only own my ocs this story will take place in the Lightning Thief and hopefully other parts of this wonderful book series. I am still working on Snowfall but had this in my head for so long and figured this would also be a great way to practice my writing style and this will be mostly my two OC's pov and It will be the 3rd person for, some chapters. But anyway, I hope you all enjoy this first chapter.

It was late June the year was 1994 the woman or goddess, in question was hurrying to her destination carrying two newborn children, twins a boy and a girl, they each had auburn hair and silver eyes that looked like the moon shining brightly at night; the girl was as calm as can be she had a mole on her lower right cheek while her son had freckles on his face her son was laughing softly from the wind he was feeling she loved, the sound of his laughter if only she could hear it forever.

As she made her way through the rooftops of the restless streets of New York city Queens if she was going to be specific; she finally made it to her destination a nice apartment in NYC, she smiled and snuck her way inside finding the door to the right apartment holding her old friend she knew she would not be happy to see her but she had no, another choice.

She knocked on the door no answer then, another knock. She heard shuffling "IM coming I'm. coming hold on!" The door opened, to reveal her old hunter she's aged she still looks the same but wiser and older she had blond hair the mark of her mother along with stormy grey eye's; olive like skin she had blue hoodie grey vest and sweatpants with little lion slippers, on her feet. "Yeah who is …it?" she asked looking very tired.

"It has been a very long time Amanda daughter of Athena hunter of Artemis."

Amanda looked shocked and drew her Hunter's dagger ready for, a fight.

"Who are you, and how do you know who I am!" Amanda yelled at the woman demanding to know who she is and what she wants with, her.

The woman looked up and her cloak disappeared, in a stream of silver light reveling someone Amanda did not want to see again for a lifetime.

She quickly bowed in the presence of the goddess of the hunt, "My, lady forgive me I didn't know it was you" Amanda begged her for forgiveness for almost attacking her,

"All is forgiven please rise." Amanda did as instructed and stood up facing her old boss, she noticed her carrying two small infants in her arms.

" you know what's going to happen if they're found out to be yours."

Artemis was gently rocking the twins in her arms to sooth them so they wouldn't cry.

"I know its why I am here please may I, come in to talk to you about it I need your help. I wouldn't have come otherwise."

Amanda sighed and opened the door, to her apartment allowing the goddess to enter with her children.

As Artemis entered she noticed the home was rather large for a New York, City apartment it had a nice living room two bathrooms and Three bedrooms and a lot of Greek paintings and weapons on her walls she gathered they where from her days as a huntress, Artemis conjured a silver crib and placed her children within it and kissed their heads.

She made, her way into the living room couch and saw the color palette of the apartment had Fall like colors brown and yellow.

"So, I take it you're not here for a social call with the others," Amanda said sitting across from her in a lounge chair.

She shook her head in response, "No, Zoe is currently leading them on a hunt for a monster that has been plaguing the outskirts of Maine, the only one who knows of my whereabouts is Apollo, and he's keeping this a secret until I chose otherwise or until they are discovered." She explained herself.

Amanda sighed, and leaned back, in her chair looking at the two children in the crib. "So, what do you want me to do you exiled me from the hunt remember you said if I ever see you again I would kill you or turn you; into a deer and have the rest of your sisters hunt you down." Amanda glared at the women still no love for her she used to worship her looked up to her for guidance but instead, she was outcasted exiled

forgotten.

"I know, but you have served me for many years, please… help me I wouldn't have come to anyone else you know that. But you also broke your vow and fell in love."

The two women glared at each other neither breaking eye contact, Amanda Sighed "it seems you have broken your vow, as well now. Do… the others know?"

Artemis shook her head,

"I see, was he truly worth it for you to break your vow?" a question even Artemis knew the answer too right way she loved that man the only man her besides, her son she would ever love.

"Yes, he was I loved him as you loved yours the only man besides my son I will ever love." She answered the question and Amanda nodded.

"I see, and why are you here exactly?… you never mentioned the reason." Amanda already knew the answer she just wanted to hear it from her.

The two women looked at each other for a good four minutes until Artemis broke the silence. " I, need you to raise them I will provide the money all you need to do so. you are the only one who can at least until they are able to go to the camp… please, Amanda."

The goddess was so acting out of character that even Amanda had to feel slight sympathy for her.

"Ok, I will raise them…" Artemis looked up smiling. " Thank you I will never forget your kindness never.." Amanda got up and walked up the crib looking too children of the moon, goddess.

Amanda turned, her head and looked backed at Artemis." Did, you at least name them?'' she asked.

Artemis looked up at Amanda. "Yes, Cassandra is the girl's name and my son's name is Maximus...Hestia suggested his name," she said with a smile. That one caught Amanda off guard. "what..Hesti-."

"I will explain, another time." She interjected Amanda before she could finish. "My, time is almost up Apollo can only stall father for so long." Artemis went to her children and kissed them both on their foreheads saying how much she loved them and went to her old friend. "Thank you.. again Amand-."

"Don't let's just leave as friends…" she said.

Artemis looked at her and smiled. "No, not friends Sisters," she smiled and hugged Amanda, she was shocked by this at first then returned the jester hugging her back.

"sisters." She repeated happily. glad that the broken bond they shared was now repaired.

"I must go now, I have to be back on Olympus by tomorrow. Good… by Amanda," with one last look at her children, the goddess of the hunt vanished in a flash of silver light. Amanda sighed. Looking at the twins. "Now, what am I going to do with you two?" she said softly smiling and wondering what will happen in the future.

Now that's it's for this first chapter I'm looking forward to working on this thank you for reading stay tuned for the next one I am going to push to make each chapter 5000 words or 6000 depending if I can do it but I believe and again thank you for reading.
