Morro flicked his hands as his younger brothers cake, trying to create an ice sculpture on the top. "No, not that," he tried again. "No," once more, he tried. "Come on Morro, you can do this."
"Relax, Morro. You've got this. Don't worry about it." Called Kristina. "I just want Lloyd's birthday to be perfect." Morro stated. "Speaking of perfect, check this out," She Called. Morro turned around. Kristina had sloppily painted "Happy Birthday Lloyd" on large pieces of paper and she had hung them on on a piece of rope going over the courtyard.
"What do you think?" "Eh... Kristina, are you sure I can leave you in charge here?" Morro asked, wiping a bit of paint off Kris' face. "Absolutely. Don't worry about it." Kris smiled cheekily. Morro sighed, then turned to make sure everything was in order.
Then he heard someone say, "Wu, what are you doing?!" Morro turned to see his wife standing by the green-frosted birthday cake, which now had a chunk missing. "Uhh... not eating cake...?" Morro sniffled as he walked over to the duo. "Wu, the cake is for Lloyd." Morro explained, smiling. "But it's an ice cream cake!" Wu exclaimed. "And it's for Lloyd." Morro said. "Ok." Wu sighed. Carissa and Morro walked off once they had made sure Wu wasn't gonna touch the cake again. Once Morro and Carissa were out of Wu's sight, he took the bunch of cake out of his mouth and put it back on the cake.
Morro and Carissa were walking towards the courtyard gate. Morro sniffled again and wiped his nose on his sleeve. Carissa looked at her husband, rather concerned, but before she could say anything, Morro gasped. "Oh, it's time!" "Yay, it's time," Wu could be heard from behind them. "Time for what?"
"Carissa, Kristina, make sure everything is in order and nobody touch the cake. That means you too, Wu. I want everything to be perfect." Morro said, backing out of the courtyard gates. He ran off then yelled again, "Nobody touch the cake!"
Kristina leaned on Rey the reindeer, with her arm swung over her. "He thinks your an idiot." Kristina said in an odd voice. "Heh, well clearly, he's wrong." At that moment, she bumped the cake and it almost fell. She caught it. "Heh." Carissa facepalmed. "Ugh, I married into this family." She muttered.
Morro was crouched by the side of his little brothers bed. Lloyd was peacefully sleeping and slightly snoring. "Lloyd, happy birthday." "To you..." Lloyd added sleepily. Morro laughed a bit. "No silly, it's your birthday." "Happy birthday to meee... it's my birthday," he mumbled. Then he shot up. Morro laughed. "It's my birthday?!" He asked. Morro nodded. "And it's gonna be special, cause you've never had a real birthday before. Except of course the ones just spent outside my locked door."
Morro held up a newly tailored suit for Lloyd. He excitedly took it and ran off to change. Morro laughed and followed. Being the gentleman he was, he politely waited for Lloyd to finish and faced the opposite direction. "So I'm here way too late to help you celebrate and be your birthday date if I may. A-choo!"
Morro sneezed and wiped his nose on his sleeve once more. When he sneezed there was a slight breeze. Three tiny snow people sat at his feet, though he didn't notice them before they ran away. Lloyd slowly stepped out, now wearing his suit. "Morro, I'm thinkin ya might have a cold." Lloyd stated, obviously concerned for his brother. "I'll be fine. Besides, a cold never bothered me anyway." He waved his hands and his outfit was magically modified. Instead of the light blue and grey colors he had before, his suit was light green with some grey and darker green. His cloak was ombré light green to dark green. "Woah..." Lloyd gasped in amazement. Morro smirked and waved his hand once more. Lloyd's suit changed from the green and black to green and black with floral decorations lightly displayed here and there.
"Follow the string." Morro said. Lloyd followed Morro's gaze to a red string on the floor. He picked it up and started following it. Every here and there, Morro had hidden a gift for Lloyd.
"I've got big plans, I've got surprises for today. Nothing, but nothings gonna get in our way! I've worked for weeks, planned everything within my power. I even got Kristina and Rey to take a shower," all while singing, Morro was following Lloyd around as he found the gifts Morro had hidden the day before. "If someone wants to hold me back I'd like to see them try. I'm on the birthday plan attack. I'm giving you the sun the moon and the sky," They were now on a balcony. "A-choo!" Morro sneezed again. Like before, there was a slight breeze. A few tiny snowmen also formed and fell down to the courtyard, again unnoticed.
Kristina and Rey, covered in punch, spotted Wu running around with the tiny snowmen. "Little brothers!" He Shouted gleefully. Carissa sighed. "Again I say, why I married into this family, I have no idea." She muttered.
Morro and Lloyd were now on a swing outside. "I'm making today a prefect day for you!" Morro sang. Lloyd suddenly found another gift. "Ooh, a sandwich." He smiled gleefully as he picked it up. The duo raced inside to a hallway where they had paintings of the royal family and kingdom allies. They both jumped onto one of the couches and jumped up to view a new portrait of Morro, Rey, Wu, Lloyd, and Kristina. "I'm making today a blast if it's the last thing I do!" Morro continued.
Lloyd laughed as Morro took him to their bicycle. They rode through the halls. "For everything you are to me and all you've been through," they rode down the stairs. "I'm making today a prefect day for you! A-choo! A-choo!" Morro sneezed twice more. "They come in threes." Lloyd stated, still concerned. "I'm fine," Morro confirmed, before sneezing again.
Meanwhile in the courtyard, Kristina was chasing the tiny snow people and Wu was enjoying their company. Then 14 more tiny snow people came bursting through the door into the courtyard. They squealed when they noticed the birthday cake...
Morro and Lloyd had made it to the docks. Sitting in an old rowboat was another gift. "Surprise, surprise, this one is specially– A-choo!" Morro wiped his nose on his sleeve. Lloyd picked up the fishing rod. "Wow.. you've got me reeling," He laughed at his own joke. "But I'm still concerned for you. I think it's time that you go home and get some rest." Lloyd suggested as they walked. "No," Morro pulled Lloyd over to a small shop, where he had gotten a snow globe for Lloyd. "We are not stopping, cause the next one is the be... a-choo!" Morro groaned slightly. "Morro, you've gotta go lie down." Lloyd demanded. "No way! We have to paint the town." They had walked up to another small shop called "Jay and Ronin's Cloakens". Morro gave Lloyd a cloak, then opened a door and breathed in the steam. "But you need medical attention." Lloyd stated, walking towards Morro. Then Jay poked his head out the door. "Are you sick? How about a cold remedy of my own invention?" Morro shook his head and muttered a polite "no thanks." And walked away. Lloyd rolled his eyes and took it. "We'll take it."
They walked over to a part of the kingdom with several flower shops. In front of one was a choir of children. "We're making today a perfect day for you! We're singing a birthday song to make your wishes come true! We love our prince Lloyd." Lloyd turned to Morro, who was blowing his nose. "And I love you too." He added, smiling. "Oh we're making today a perfect day, a fabulous day in every way! Making today a perfect day!"
The duo then walked towards a lighthouse. It was almost sunset. Lloyd's arms were full with gifts and Morro was stumbling slightly. They walked into the lighthouse. Morro deliriously pointed up the spiraling stairway. "Now we climb!" "No, Morro. We have to get home. You need rest." Lloyd stated. Morro had already started up the stairs. "But we have to get to our birthday chills," he shivered slightly. "I-I mean thrills. Making dreams, making plans... go go go go!" Morro continued to climb, and Lloyd hurriedly followed. "Follow the string to the end, you are my very best friend!" Morro deliriously sang. "Morro..?" "What? I'm fine... We're gonna climb, we're gonna sing. Follow the string to the thing..." They had at last reached the top. Morro began to dance along the edge of the lighthouse.
"Happy happy happy, merry merry merry, hot cold hot birthday!" Right before Morro could fall, Lloyd dropped all his stuff and grabbed Morro's arm. He placed his hand gently on his older brother's forehead. "Morro, you've got a fever! You're burning up!" Lloyd gasped. Morro moaned slightly.
"Morro... we cant go on like this. Let's put this day on hold. Come on, admit it to yourself." Lloyd smiled slightly at Morro, but his face wore worry and concern. "Okay, Fine. I... have a cold..." he sighed and leaned against Lloyd.
Lloyd and Morro walked through the kingdom to the courtyard gates. "I'm sorry, Lloyd. I just wanted you to have the best birthday ever. But I ruined it... again." Morro sighed. Lloyd smiled. "You didn't ruin anything. Now, let's get you to bed." Lloyd pushed open the gates to reveal a chaotic surprise. The tiny snow people (snowgies) we're still trying to get the cake. Carissa's hair was unkempt and her dress was wrinkled. Kristina was still trying to catch the snowgies and Rey and Wu were kinda just there...
They paused when they saw the prince and king standing in the gates, jaws dropped. "Um..." Carissa whispered. "Surprise!" They all Shouted. "Wow!" Lloyd laughed happily. "Wow..." Morro Said in shock.
"We're making today a perfect day for you..." Carissa took her brother-in-law's hand and dragged him into the courtyard. "We're making today a smiley face all shiny and new!" Wu added. "With a fine line between chaos..." Kristina sang, finally catching all the snowgies. "And a Hullabaloo!" Wu added. "We're making today a perfect day for you." Carissa repeated.
Kristina cut Lloyd's birthday cake and gave him a piece. "I love you... here." She blushed and thrust it towards him. He laughed and took it.
Morro stumbles up to Carissa and fell into her arms. "Morro dear, are you alright?" She asked. He sneezed, then nodded. "Oh!" Lloyd ran over to the duo, remembering his brother was sick. "Ok, let's get you to bed." He attempted to drag Morro to his room. "Oh, wait wait wait wait. There's one more thing. It's tradition for the King of arendelle to blow the birthday bugle horn!" Morro Said. "Oh no no no—" Morro began to blow into it, but then sneezed. The sneeze caused a strong wind to blow all the way to the southern isles, where Skylor just so happened to be a victim of it.
"Ok. To bed with you." Lloyd led Morro to his bed.
Carissa sat next to Morro on one side, and Lloyd on the other. "Just a spoonful." Carissa smiled, giving Morro a dose of the medicine.
"Best present ever." Lloyd said. Morro looked at him confused. "Which one?" "You letting me take care of you." Lloyd hugged his older brother gently. Morro hugged in return.
