The metal arms worked quickly. First, the base and legs were formed. Then the main body base was attached to the legs. Two white covers slid over the body. The base of the arms were attached, then swiftly covered by two white covers. The arms quickly closed the turret, packaged it, place it in a cardboard box and dropped it down into the dark hole that lay beneath them.
Turret Number 0097682 was switched on.
She looked around and saw she was an a metal rail. She panicked. Where was she? What was this rail? What were those voices? Too busy panicking, she failed to notice that she had moved along the rail. In front of her was a doll of a strange creature Turret Number 0097682 had never seem before. But, almost like instinct, she fired as many bullets as she could at it before she was quickly moved on. The rail moved, then stopped, then moved then stopped. It continued this process in a constant loop. If Turret Number 0097682 had a stomach, she would've been sick to it from on the lurching about.
She looked too her right and saw three turrets in front of her. The one furthest away was deformed, and had no covers over his base. If Turret Number 0097682 could have blushed, she would have whilst she stared at the naked turret. The line stopped and a deep voice said,
"Template." Turret Number 0097682 could just see a turret in a glass room being scanned before it spoke.
"Hello?" It said in a high pitched voice.
"Response." The deep voice spoke again whilst it scanned the nude turret.
"Yeah, let's do this!" The turret cried excitedly. Suddenly, the platform the strange turret was standing on shot up, fling it through the air and into an Aperture Science Emergency Intelligence Incinerator.
"No, no ,no ,no no!" The turret cried as it fell, it's voice getting quieter and quieter until a dark silence filled the room.
If she could've, Turret Number 0097682 would have fainted. Why would they do that? Was this a test? Would she be incinerated if she failed? Once again, whilst she panicked, she failed to notice the Turret Redemption move past the turret in front of her. She only realised when she heard the deep voice speak.
"Template."
"Hello?"
A blue light scanned Turret Number 0097682's body.
"Response." Turret Number 0097682 panicked, again. What if she went wrong? What if she wasn't good enough? Would she be incinerated?
"Hello." Turret Number 0097682 replied. What? Why did she say that? If she could've had lungs, she would have emptied them quickly in a whooshing motion. She turned off and began to wait.
