Vengeance
Chapter 1-Vision
She had a dream. In her dream she was being chased by a beast in the dead of winter, when suddenly a flaming red arrow came between her and the monster. She knew why it had come. It came for revenge, for the one that killed its master. She also knew that this arrow had a name, and its name was.
Raven woke up with a start; she never had a dream with that much intensity, in fact she rarely ever dreamed at all. It was soon forgotten as she took a shower and did the rest of her morning routine. She then went downstairs to eat, and like every other morning she saw Cyborg and Beast boy were dueling it out on the latest fighting game they had bought.
"Shin Haduken boi! whatcha going to do now punk?" yelled Cyborg at Beast Boy. Beast boy just mumbled something while getting an uber stompage. Raven just continued on to the kitchen. She started to heat up some water for some tea when Robin surprised her.
"Fgh Rahen, hoew adr ouy tday?" He said with a mouthful of cereal.
"Why don't you repeat that when you are done chewing." She replied
"Hey Raven, how are you today?" he repeated once he was done swallowing.
"Other then being talked to by someone who has just a little more table manners then Beats Boy, just fine." It took him awhile to realize the sarcastic remark
"HEY!" Raven just sighed and poured some hot water into a cup and put a tea bag into it. "Why do you have to be so sarcastic all the damn time?"
"Just the way I learned to cope with not being able to have emotion." Raven retorted. She drank the rest of her tea and went to retrieve her book that Starfire had taken out of curiosity.
"Would you like this back friend Raven?" asked starfire
"Yes I would", answered Raven.
Meanwhile, on the other part of Gothem City. "Souls, I want more souls!" cried a menicing voice. Blood driped from out of the shadows as the body of a young kid, lays face down in the snowy street of Gothem.
