Yours Always, Oh Lord

This is a poem I wrote in the searching style of David's Psalms. I wrote this while I was feeling distanced from God and wishing to draw nearer to him.

Yours Always, oh Lord

I sit here and wonder where are you?

Why am I here waiting for you?

My heart so mutable so undecided.

Passions to passions never delighted.

Why am I so easily turned from my first love?

I wish to pursue him with a new strength and fierce desire.

May I live for the Lord.

May boldness fill my heart.

May I be open, real, honest, and loving.

Fill me with your will oh Lord and show me your desires.

Teach me to live my life for you.

I praise you oh mighty God

Guide me direct me.

I put all of me in your hands.
