Author's Note: Another of my crazy ideas. Don't ask where it came from because I don't know. The idea... the concept, that came from a member of the Java Junkie Forums at I forget whom but to whoever it was, this is dedicated to you and all the other lovely people over there that has become my friends. I love you, you guys!
Disclaimer: If I did own Gilmore Girls or the characters in the story would I be sitting here right now in crappy ol' Pottsville? I think not!
Summary: All the ex loves' of Lorelai Gilmore (3 of them anyway) come together to write a book. While it's not really book material, it makes for a great fan fiction. The 'Tell All' exclusive from them to you.
Chapter One: Introduction and Playground Rivalry
There are many ways to describe Lorelai Gilmore and they all change throughout time and from person to person. Some may call her sweet, smart, and sexy. Others may call her childish, bratty, and bitchy. That's what we are here for. The three of us. Together, telling all. How we all had Lorelai Gilmore and lost her. She fell through our cracks...
Enough, Jason! We're Christopher Haden, Jason Stiles, and Max Medina. Like the idiot said, we're each an ex love of Lore. We're going to tell you about our own personal relationship with her and our feelings during those times.
Thanks, Chris. You're also going to notice that a single certain someone plays a large part in all of this. We may not have wanted to see it then, but we certainly see it now. I should have known on that night he was at her house to pick up his toolbox but she said there was nothing going on. Me, being the schoolteacher, believed her, The evil – never mind.
This is a hard thing to do for us, as we all loved Lorelai greatly but it's for the best. Some sort of closure, for me anyway. I never really got any. After that phone call saying my apartment was burning down I never went back. It wasn't burning down. It was fine. I took the hint, even if I didn't want to. I'll never forget that night. I saw my one and only true love making out with the French-fry guy and it broke my heart.
For some of us, the story is sadder. In my personal opinion, Max.'s is the worst. Their relationship was so hard for him to tell us, so hard for him to explain but he did it. Wonderfully might I add. He told us and he will let you in on it a little later. While I've known her since we were kids, Max loved her the duration of their relationship.
Chris is a great guy. He and Lorelai had a beautiful kid together so early in life and I respected that. I don't think Lorelai thought I did. It pushed us apart so many times. All three of us had different relationships with her, each like a math equation.
Lorelai plus Me equals heartache
Lorelai plus Chris equals Rory
Lorelai plus Jason equals Just plain weird.
I will not sit around and tolerate that! We were not weird! Just... different. Yes, different. I remember when Lorelai, Chris, and me would play in the sandbox at the playground when we were small. I'd go into details about frog and tadpoles and Lorelai would throw her bucket at me while Chris would spit in my hair. They were Evil then.
