Disclaimer: The usual drill. I don't own Avatar, blah blah blah.

Challenge: #126 – Indulgence
Word Count: 126 (rather fitting, huh?)

As though handling a newborn babe, Ursa slowly unfolded the shirt she kept hidden away in the bottom drawer of the armoire.
There was a tiny rip in the fabric, just big enough to slip her finger through. It seemed like a millennia ago she had told the Royal Seamstress she would repair the shirt herself, only to take it with her.
She brought the rubescent material up to her face and inhaled. Deeply.
The sweet, heady scent of her son, underlaid with the faint, smokey signature of the Fire Nation flushed her senses, making her dizzy.
Before her mothering instincts could whir back to life, she refolded the shirt and tucked it away once more.
The moment of indulgence was over. Back to the present.

A/N: As always, reviews are appreciated.
