Prologue
Lilly's breaths became more shallow by the second, her heart racing with fear. Suddenly her ears picked up the same noise behind her, it was Humphrey, who was running from the same thing. How could they just throw them away like this, no explanation or any proof. It was heartbreaking, just know that their friends and family would be so gullible and banish them like it was nothing, almost as if they never cared. They took a quick break before hearing a bloodcurdling howl nearby.
"Hurry Humphrey, we can't stop now?" Lilly cried before breaking into a sprint with Humphrey follow behind.
Well this story is just something that's been in my mind for a while now, and I hope it'll do well.
