It was a beautiful morning at master Roshi's house and on a beautiful day like today it was going to be an exciting one at that. This was the day that Marron would learn to fly. Everyone was up well.. expect Master Roshi and Oolong as they spent most of the night watching Lady excersie videos; the 11 year old Marron rushed down the stairs in excitement, 18 and krillin following behind "hurry up ! you guys are so slow! " she laughed but as she got closer to the door she was lifted up by the scruff of her collar although in a way to not hurt her. "your not going to start the day on an empty stomch Marron, right?" 18 said in a monotone, she was always protective of her daughter since the moment she was born, maybe at times over protective and Krillin giving the talk about how 'one day she will be old enough to take care of herself in the real world' speech.. at times it did work, she took pride on how similar Marron looked to herself.
Marron sighed " yeah I know " she said defeatedly, lowering her head like a puppy that has been scolded, she was let down and she made her way to the breakfast table and sat down. 18 sat down next to Marron after setting up the table, Krillin was cooking a breakfast mix of bacon and eggs "so are you sure your up for this Marron? I know it wasn't easy when I first tried it" said Krillin laying out breakfast on each plate and handing them out to them. "I can handle it dad, trust me. I mean Gohan and Videl told me some tips so I should be fine" she said and began to eat " I know but it does take a lot out of you if you haven't done it before" said Krillin and both him and 18 had begun to eat. Once everything was cleared away Marron ran outside eagerly awaiting, doing a few stretches, she was wearing a comfterble clothing that was similar appearance to weighted clothing but instead of short sleeves it was long sleeved and slightly baggy, they were a gift from Goku, she also had her hair tied back.
18 walked out and took a seat to watch closely, she felt a slight envy that Krillin would be teaching her but thought it would be the best, 18 never really learned to fly as it was more incorporated into her by so it was like second nature to her "Be careful now Marron" she said, Marron looked over to her mother and smiled "Don't worry I will", that made 18 smile. Krillin walked out stretching and giving a yawn "Alright, let's get started shall we, now you want to start powering your Ki so that wa-", "Ki control, check!" she exclaimed as she stood in a stance and started to power up, it wasn't much at first but for a start it was pretty good, Krillin looked amazed "W-wow when did you learn to do that?", "Gohan taught me" she smiled as she settled her Ki down "oh okay well I guess that takes care of the troublesome part" he said rubbing his head, still looking quite surprised " Okay onto the flying, first charge up your Ki" he said and demonstrated it himself as he powered up, she did the same.
"Okay now focus all of that energy underneath you, towards the ground" he said and he floated slightly off the ground to show Marron. Marron nodded and tried to focus all of her Ki underneath her; it took a few minutes until she was finally off the ground, a little wobbly at first but a start none the less. Krillin floated towards her as if ready to catch her incase she dropped "Alright! you've got it" he said excitedly but it was at that moment that she lost her focus "ah !" she gave a little yelp and fell into her father's arms " Or atleast you nearly had it, great start though" he said, smiling proudly at his daughter.
