Hello everyone! Welcome to a little story I call "Brave Guardians!"

Zone: …You're a Jarida shipper?

Duh! It may not be as popular as Jackunzel or Mericcup, but eh, you have your ships, and I have mine

Sonyia: *Shrugs* Alright then.

Now then! That disclaimer thing!

©Rise Of The Guardians and Brave do not belong to me, they belong to Dreamworks and Disney Pixar. However, the storyline and concept belongs to me©

Things in the kingdom of Dunbroch in the ancient land of Scotland, things seemed very fine. Until a scream was heard from the said kingdom.

"Kingdom DunBroch is on fire! Fire!" A random citizen screamed. Everyone was running around screaming and panicking while the royal family themselves had gotten caught inside and were now figuring out a way to escape. But every door and window, caught fire.

The queen, Elinor, was inside when it had caught fire somehow. Her husband, daughter, and triplet sons had gone inside to save not only their queen, but their flesh and blood.

The princess, Merida, had gotten separated from the boys. Her fiery red curls had blended with the flames and bounced with her movements as she was wandering the castle quickly, looking for a way out of her burning home. When she was about to give up, she heard a distant cry.

"Help! Please-*cough*help us!" Merida had made her way to a part of the kingdom that wasn't well burnt, at least, not yet. When she had turned the corner, She saw a young women with bright brown hair, in the arms of a man with jet black hair. The woman was holding a bundle, which made Merida guess that it was a baby. The fiery redhead rushed to their side. "Are any of ya injured?"

The man nodded his head. "Yes, my wife is injured. Please, we must find a way out of here. We have a child together." He opened the bundle to reveal the young boy's face, who had his mother's brown hair. Merida was relieved that the infant wasn't hurt. The woman coughs and smiles.

"Please. Take care of our son for me."

The man gasps and tears threatened to spill from his amber brown eyes. "No, please stay with me, darling. I love you, I'll burn with you if it means I won't have to live without you."

The scene in front of Merida caused Merida to realize what she had to do. The flames were arising in the room and she knew it was too late for her. She figured that her family was already gone. So there was nothing to lose. Quickly she drew her bow and arrow and aimed for the nearest window. Some kind of luck must have been on her side, because the window cracked open for the first time.

She turns to the small family. "Go now. I must search for my family."

"But what about you?" The man said, worry evidence in his voice.

She sighs. "I must stay loyal to my family and search for them, even if they might be gone. And your love," she turns to them and smile, "is stronger than any love I've seen. Yer concerns for one another and your will to die for or with her defines love."

The woman sits up from her husband's lap. "T-thank you, your majesty."

Merida looks at the woman. "Please call me Merida." she nods. "My name is Audrey. This is my husband Artair. An our son, Blake." Merida's smile never left her face even if she knew she had no future ahead of her."I wish the three of you a happy life ahead of you." Artair smiles. "Bless you Merida. We will never forget your kind deed." They jump from the window, as they did, the window was swallowed in flames. Merida closes her eyes and lets the flames swallow her form, knowing it was too late to find her family "At least I'll be with mah ancestors now." But, instead of feeling scorching pain, she feels comfort, and she can see the full moon from the burning roof of her home. 'Guardian of Love' she heard the voice say. She may have been dead, but she felt no regret for helping that family.

And there ya go!

Sonyia: That was it? I thought it was going to longer.

This is just the intro. It will get longer as the story processes.
