The Identity Theft of Naomi Misora

Final Words: I thought of this a while ago when watching Relight... It's pretty out of character but I've been wanting to do this kind of thing. This is an attempt at it. I did rewrite the whole discussion part a bit, but it's hard without the movie right in front of you. Review please!
"I'd like to recommend you," Light all but declared. But he quickly added, "Well, if you would be interested," when he noticed how loud he was.
"I'd be more than glad to," Naomi Misora replied calmly, "But I still am living in the United States. I came here with my fiancee so we could visit my parents after he was finished with his mission, but now that he's gone I guess I..." she tapered off.
Great, now all I have to do is convince her somehow... "You have your whole life ahead of you. You could do so much with it. Why risk it all to go after Kira?"
"No, it's not a risk! Now that he's gone, I have nothing to live for! I will catch Kira. Nothing else matters anymore. Let me investigate with you."
"Oh of course! I understand your reasoning. Now, all I need is to see some identification." He took out a pen and a piece of paper.
"Oh, well... uh..." She started.
"Is something wrong Ms. Maki?" He asked innocently. Yes, she's finally going to admit it.
"You see, the name I gave you before wasn't my real name," she looked down at her shoes. "I'm sorry,"
"Oh, there's nothing to be sorry about. I'm actually impressed at how thurough you are about these things. You are always one step ahead of everyone. That is proof of how dedicated and talented you are at this stuff." Oh, get on with it!
"So would a social security card work?" she asked, opening up her handbag.
"Sure," he replied. Finally... I get what I've been waiting for.
"Here," she found it. She reached out to give it to him.
He slowly reached, fighting back the urge to laugh at her stupidity. Finally he couldn't take it any longer. He quickly grabbed at the card.
"Yoink!"
In a split second he was off and running. Ryuk flew after him, cackling all the way. Mission accomplished.
