Promise made and payment due

Jack sold his soul to bring the Black Pearl back, and now it's time for him to pay the price. (Poem written for London Sparrow)

Present for London Sparrow. Kind of an early Christmas present, you could say. :)

Captain Jack Sparrow made a vow to Davy Jones

He offered his soul and spirit, his flesh and bones

So that the Black Pearl would be made to rise again

For years, he'd be captain over his ship and men

.

Promise made and payment due, it is time to pay

Davy Jones does not care for what Jack has to say

Jack was not captain for long due to mutiny

For him the vow is void, he just wants to be free

.

The kraken hunts him down, looking for the black spot

That proves he's to be sent to the Locker to rot

Jack throws his hat away but it's insufficient

The kraken has found him and thus ended the hunt

.

Now Jack was chained to his ship by Elizabeth

He's being forced to confront his imminent death

Once free he leaps into the kraken's gaping maw

That's the last of Jack Sparrow that anyone saw.
