Sam gripped Danny's arm tighter, forcing him to look at her. "Are you positive about this?" His girlfriend asked worriedly, "I can't save your ass when half a dozen guns are pointed at my only boyfriend."

Danny chuckled, putting his hand on top of the one squeezing the life out of his arm. "Sam, it's okay. I can always just go under the mall y'know." Danny looked down at the center of the busy mall, estimating how far up he was from the tiled ground.

Tucker scanned the crowd, then clacked on his PDA. "Okay, I set off the ghost alarm at the other side of the mall." He informed his two friends.

A few moments later, a shrill noise erupted from the west side of the Amity Shopping Plaza. Danny grinned in admiration. "I have got to learn how to do that."

"You won't if you screw up." The Goth of the trio said with a worried huff, "And then I'll hunt you down and kill you again." The halfa laughed nervously. When Sam threatened you, she meant it.

"Well, better get going then." Tucker said, "The alarm will only have the guard's attention for a few minutes, better hurry up dude."

Danny nodded, jumping over the protective railing that keeps shoppers from falling off the fifth story and onto the supportive beams. A few of the shoppers that noticed screamed.

Once Danny was in the middle of the beam structure, he looked down. The screaming had gotten the other shopper's attention, and now the people that could spot the lithe form of Danny started shouting.

"Hey!" He shouted, waving a hand to the terrified people below, a grin adorning his features. "Look what I can do!" The halfa jumped off the beams, which caused more panic.

"Danny!" Someone cried. Said boy looked towards the source of the voice. It was his mom, and she was pushing her way through the mass of watchers, his enormous orange-suited Danny bowling people over behind her.

"Hi mom!" Danny shouted cheerily as he whizzed past the third floor. He did a couple of flips and pointed himself head-down towards the fast-approaching ground.

There were a few shouts a Danny transformed in a bright flash of light just before he hit the ground, turning up sharply and laughing. A few moments later his parents tackled him.

"My baby boy!" Maddie cried, hugging him tightly. The ghost huntress held him by his shoulder at arm's length so that she could look at him. "You're…. a ghost?" She stammered out.

Danny paled but kept up his cheerful façade he had just moments ago. He looked around to see if the Guys in White were around. "I'm a halfa, actually." He rubbed the back of his neck.

Before either of them could continue, however, a cell phone hit Danny in the head. "I TOLD YOU SO!" Someone screamed, and both mother and son recognized it as their favorite Goth.

The halfa chuckled, shaking his head. He picked up the projectile and looked it over. Sam hit him with his own cell phone! Danny rolled his eyes, "One moment, please." He excused himself (how polite!) and flew up to his friends.

A moment later everyone on the ground floor heard a screech. "DANIEL JAMES FENTON, YOU DID NOT JUST TAKE MY PHONE!" There were a few thumps and a yell, followed by a panicking Danny flying past the shoppers with a purple bat-decorated phone in hand.

Everyone's gaze followed the fleeing ghost, but turned their attention to the two people giving chase. Or rather, the person giving chase with a Thermos and Anti-Creep Stick and a very tired techno-geek trying to stop Sam from fully-killing the infamous Danny Phantom.
