Everything i've wanted
Summary- Just Spike and Buffy's thoughts on each other while they're sitting in the bronze. They each don't know that the other is there. Set just after once more with feeling. Thier thoughts are in italic.
Pairing- Buffy and Spike
Spike was sitting up on the balcony at the bronze. He was deep in thought about the kiss he and Buffy had shared a few minutes ago.
Spike- I love her. I always will. And that kiss was like a gift. If she denies that she feels the same way then I know that she's lying. I could tell that she loved me when I was kissing her. How she touched my tongue with hers. How she carried on the kiss for what seemed like forever. Oh yeh, she wants me alright. I know i'm right.
He took another swig of his beer.
Meanwhile-
Buffy was sitting at the lower level of the bronze listening to the band play. She thought they were the worst thing she had ever heard.
Buffy- I can't believe it. How we kissed. It was just so wrong and we both knew it. I mean it's Spike. He's rude, arrogant and perverted. But I wouldn't have him any other way.
Spike looked down at the band. They sounded terrible. He rolled his eyes and continued with his thoughts.
Spike- Why can't she admit she loves me? We both know she does. She must feel the electricity when we're together. And how she wishes the world could stop just for us. Almost what I feel when I'm with her.
Buffy- I think i'm falling in love with him. I don't know what I should do.
They both got up. Spike walked downstairs and Buffy walked towards the stairs.
Both-I've finally got what I wanted. Something I'll always want no matter what...
As they turned the corner, they banged into each other. They looked into each others eyes for a moment.
"...you" they both whispered.
Buffy grabbed Spike and pulled him in for a kiss. (Think the kiss at the end of tabula rasa.)
To them everything went silent. All they could hear was the end of the song in the background.
