A PASSIONATE ENCOUNTER
(Inspired by a Friend)
We had dinner in the candlelight,
His eyes gazed into mine, longing...pleading.
But I turned away, not ready to see
that spark of passion in their soulful depths.
He then took my hands and led me to the garden.
We walked under the moonlit sky in silence.
No words can ever describe the beauty of that night
- and its sinful delights.
We came to a halt, and he turned to me
Those eyes again...made me shiver.
And once again, he begged
in silence, he begged
...and finally, I let go, gave in.
I chose this,
I have chosen to do this.
I kissed him...and everything changed.
He slowly took off his clothes.
This moment could wait no longer,
it was bound to happen -
inevitably, undoubtedly.
He slowly lay himself on the cold ground,
covering it with the warmth of his body.
And with those eyes again, I took his hands,
...and nailed them to the cross.
