A/N: I'm back! For those who haven't read "Bella's Period," you should know that I'm a Twilight hater. A complete reason of why I hate it is on there. However, I wrote this for my literary magazine last month and it got in. Originally, it wasn't supposed to sound like Twilight at all. In fact, it was loosely based off a dream I happened to have. But after reading it, it sounded a bit like it. So hopefully it'll contain enough fluff for the Twilight lovers and slight bashing for the Twilight haters. So far I think I've done a good job of balancing the two. Hope you enjoy!

I remember standing in the middle of the forest, barefoot. Sunlight shined boringly through the evergreen trees. Between my toes I could feel the moss tickle my skin. My white dress flowed about my ankles. I felt like I was floating, but my insides felt like they were on a crazy roller coaster. As excited as I was, I was nervous at the same time. But I knew it would turn out alright in the end. Then I saw him. His dark hair was coarse and he smiled at me.

"Hey," I said, feeling an invisible radiation of happiness dancing off my skin.

"Hey," he replied. By now, we were so close that I could see every pore on his face. He then wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer.

"I love you," I breathed, barely being able to contain my excitement.

"I love you too."

Bringing my hand to his pale face, he instinctively ran his hand under my hair. Smiling as we gazed into each others eyes, they began to close as we went in to kiss. My heart was beating furiously; I could feel my body heating up quicker than a blacktop on a summer's day. When our lips finally touched, a giddy euphoria began to pump through my body like adrenaline. Suddenly, merely having our lips touch wasn't enough. It was almost like a baby taking its first steps; awkward and uncoordinated, yet little by little it got better. Finally, we broke apart, gasping for air. This moment didn't last long though. We were about to kiss again. Before we could, however, a shrill beeping noise started whining with no signs of stopping. The birds twittered in fright and flew into the air. My surroundings became a foggy haze before going pitch black. Opening my eyes, I glanced over to se the red numbers blinking at me, saying it was 5:00 in the morning. Angrily, I turned the alarm off and started crying. It was nothing more than a dream. Quickly I tried falling back asleep, hoping to retain the joy I had felt. But the harder I tried, the more difficult it was to grasp. And so, I left my warm bed and began my daily routine. Once again, I'd be going to school.

A/N: Special thanks to Siobhan, who came up with the title. Hope you enjoy! Please r&r! All types of criticism accepted :D
