The alarm rang again.

Daisy turned it off quickly, got dressed for school, made her bed and went downstairs where she was greeted by her parents. "Happy Birthday sweetheart!" they chorused together. Daisy didn't have time to eat breakfast. she was in a hurry to get to school. she'll eat breakfast at school. she left through the door and waved to her parents.

While she was on her way to the school, she got a text from Tai, telling her to meet him in the school lunchroom. Daisy wondered what it was. she was heading toward the lunchroom. when she opened the door, she was greeted with loud choruses of "SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAISY!" Daisy was in total shock. the entire DigiDestined all gave her hugs. but only one person was determined to give her more than just hugs. and that person was her loyal boyfriend, 17-year-old Matt Ishida. the gang parted to let him through. "Happy Birthday babe." he said, kissing her on her forehead. then the elevator rang, and 16-year-old Kari Kamiya rolled out a huge cake with strawberry frosting and chocolate mousse with strawberries around it and 17 lit candles.

"Happy Birthday Daisy." Kari said, after Tai and Matt put her cake on the huge middle table. then she hugged her best friend. then, instead of singing "Happy Birthday", the gang moved on to the presents. "Here. open mine and Kari's first." Tai said, handing her his and Kari's present. "It's your crest in necklace form." then Matt took the necklace and placed it around Daisy's neck. "It's beautiful. I love it." she said. then Yolei handed her her present next. it was a spagetti-strap dress with leggings. "Thanks Yolei." Daisy said. Yolei smiled.

Then Davis and Ken handed her both of their presents. Daisy opened Davis's present first. "Awesome. new pom-poms." she said. "Thanks." "No problem. Ken and I picked them out." Davis said. then she opened Ken's next. "Awesome. earrings with my initials on them. thanks Ken." Ken smiled.

Then T.K. handed Daisy his present. "How cute. a bracelet with my name on it." then Sora gave hers and Mimi's gift. "Cool. shopping money." she said. "So that way, you can go shopping with us." Sora said. Cody and Izzy both got her a new cell phone. "In case you're in danger." Izzy said. "That way we'll help you." Daisy smiled at both of them.

Matt was the last one. "This present's kind of a surprise. so don't open it yet." he said. "Aww. but Matt, we want to see what you got her." Tai said. "Fine. open your gift." Matt said, annoyed. Daisy was speechless. "Oh my gosh. it's a teddy bear." she said. "Open the box it's holding." Matt said. Daisy opened the box. "Is this what I think it is?" she asked, looking at him with a glowing look. she gasped. "It's beautiful Matt." it was a promise ring. then Matt put the ring on her finger and it glowed brilliantly.

Then Matt leaned down, lifted her chin and placed his tongue through Daisy's still open mouth, while making soft groans. Daisy's knees gave in and she fainted in Matt's strong arms. all of her thoughts from this morning faded from her mind and were replaced with images of Matt's sudden and sweet kiss. then Tai and the others gasped in surprise.

Then after the kiss, Daisy and Matt both came up for air. "Happy Birthday, angel." Matt whispered into her ear.
