Tori was always taught by her grandparents that when a child is punished they learn a lesson and life moves on. Her parents chose never to use punishment so Tori really didn't know what was so wrong with it. When she kissed Beck in the acting improvisational exercise she had more or less done so to punish Jade for pouring hot coffee on her head. She figured Jade would learn and life would move on. She didn't know Jade.
Jade was not one to mess with. If you hurt her, she will hurt you back and 100 times worse. She waited for the right moment to get even with "Vega" and the right moment came several days after the stage fighting incident.
Tori brought a beautiful pin in one day.
"Tori that's so pretty," Cat said, "I love it"
"Thanks. It was my grandmothers. She died a year ago"
"Can I try it on?"
"Sure," Tori said, "But PLEASE be careful Cat. It's the last thing I have left of my grandmother. It'd break my heart to lose it"
Jade had a smirk on her face.
Well Vega, she thought to herself, it's time the student became the teacher
Jade made the guise of talking with her and managed to get Tori's pin off her without her noticing.
Ten minutes later Tori was freaking out. She couldn't find her precious pin. Her heart was pounding. Tears were in her eyes.
"Lose something," Jade said evilly
"Yeah. I'm looking for my pin. I lost it and I'm freaking out. It was the last thing my grandmother ever got me"
"Interesting," Jade said
"Have you seen it," Tori asked.
"HMMMM," Jade said, "I believe I saw it on you"
"Please if you see it tell me where it is," Tori asked now crying.
"Maybe I will," Jade said, "and maybe I won't"
"What's that supposed to mean," Tori said sounding like Cat.
"Tori, why should I help you huh? You hurt me so why should I help you?"
"When did I ever hurt you?"
"YOU KISSED BECK," Jade yelled, "DUH!"
"Yeah, to punish you for pouring coffee over my head," Tori said
"Well," Jade replied, "Now you know how I feel. Now you know what it is to have something," she produced the pin, "that means the world to you, that means heaven and Earth to you STOLEN. It feels just like this."
"Jade that pin means everything to me. It was my grandmothers"
"And BECK means everything to me," Jade said.
"We were just acting," Tori argued
"You were acting like a jerk," Jade said, "Don't think I didn't see the smirk on your face. I cried for 3 days after that"
"Well I didn't know that,"
Jade really didn't.
"Yeah well you'll get your pin back in 3 days"
"But I want it back now," Tori said.
"You'll get it back in 3 days," Jade said, "and I have some frienamy advice for you. DON'T try to punish me. I punish back and I do so in a way that's harder and meaner. DON'T mess with me. I mess back and you'll find yourself regretting your folly. You chose to mess with the wrong person Vega!"
