It was all wrong
just so so wrong.
Padma should have known
something was
off-
horribly horribly off.
(and she's supposed to be the smart one)
When Lavender
(the flirty, pretty one)
walked into her dorm
on of all days
Valentine's Day.
Lavender was usually out with a boy
(how ironic)
on days like those-
but she wasn't
which was what
made it so so
odd.
She said she just wanted to
talk
(usually innocent or sweet).
But then she seemed to be
F l i r t i n g.
Padma thought she was just
I m a g i n i n g it.
So Padma played Lavender's game.
And with a bat of
a deep blue mascaraed eye
and a flip of
golden waved hair,
Lavender reached for Padma's face
and pressed her glossy lips against Padma's
(passionately, strongly, sweetly).
Padma pulled away
(with her signature look of
h o r r o r
in her chocolate brown eyes)
Lavender formed a
t w i s t e d
smile and whispered a few
s i m p l e
words
"Be my valentine?"
before running out of the dorm,
short, gray skirt
swishing against
long, fair legs.
Leaving Padma
confused
and feeling
