"What are you doing here, Spence?"

"Drinking." He mutters, staring down at the beer.

"Emily called. She said that this is your sixth."

"So?" He says, gruffly, picking it up and taking another gulp.

She rests her hand over the top and pulls it back. "So, you don't ever drink more than a glass of wine."

He raises his head up to her, swaying a little in his chair as he looks up at her. "You're beautiful."

She raises an eyebrow. "You've had too much to drink."

He blows raspberries and sits back before realizing the stool has no back and balances himself immediately. He grins slightly. "Okay, maybe I have."

She laughs and ruffles his hair. "Let me take you home."

He makes a face. "I don't want to go home. I don't want to go to bed and get up and go to work and you not be there."

Her heart breaks a little as he sits, shoulders deflated.

"It'll be okay, Spence."

He shakes his head. "It won't. Elle…and then Gideon…and now you? It's…. It's not fair."

JJ looks to where Emily and Morgan are sitting, watching the genius and her before turning back to the man. She runs her fingers over his cheek, getting him to look at her again.

"I'm not going anywhere, Spence. Elle moved back to Seattle. Gideon's where ever. I'm not leaving my house. I'm just down the street."

He looks confused. "The military base is just-"

"It's just a saying, Spence." She smiles at him, even drunk he's completely literal. "How about you come over to my place tonight, okay? Will and Henry are visiting his family in New Orleans, so you can sleep on the futon in Henry's room and we'll go to breakfast before I take you in to work."

He shakes his head. "I don't want to go to work. I quit."

"You…. Spencer, you're drunk. Sober Spencer would never make sure a decision without… He would never make that decision."

"Sober Spencer doesn't make a lot of decisions. Like… calling beautiful actresses or doctors that save their life or the bartender who likes magic… or the girl who works …worked, who worked with him."

She stares at him before looking back over at Derek and Emily. She clears her throat, turning her attention back to the man. "Spence…"

"No. No! I have to… I have to DO something!" He stands and JJ places her hands on his shoulders to keep him upright. He grabs her elbows, steadying himself as well before his eyes flash and he leans in and kisses her.

JJ pulls back almost immediately, shocked and Spencer loses his balance between catching the bar, the two staring at each other in shock.

"I…I shouldn't have done that." He says, seemingly more sober.

"You shouldn't have."

There's a pause before he grins. "Can I do it again?"
