It was Thursday and Cody was on the computer IM'ing his new girlfriend, Zoey. Every night he couldn't wait to talk to her on the phone or IM her or meet her in the hallway. Just looking at her picture made him extremely happy.

It was now Friday night and Zoey called Cody up.

"Hey. Cody, I can't go to the movies with you tomorrow. I'm really sorry. My little sister's sick and I have to take care of her. Is that ok?"

"Yea. It's fine. I was sort of looking forward to seeing a movie with you but that's ok. Bye." Cody hung up the phone and opened his laptop. He IM'ed Bob and Warren to go to the mall with him on Saturday night. They all accepted to go. Cody also invited Zack who decided to go.

It was Saturday night and Cody, Bob, Warren, and Zack were just arriving at the mall. The first thing they did when they got inside was go to Pretzel Time. They ordered drinks and sat down at a table in the middle of the mall. They were all drinking and laughing.

"Hey Bob what time is it?" Warren asked.

"Its 7:00. We just got here Warren. We have like 3 hours just to hang out." Bob answered.

Cody thought he heard Zoey's giggling. "I'm hallucinating. I must miss Zoey so much that I can hear her giggling."

"I hate to be the barer of bad news, but you're not hallucinating. Look over there." So Cody looked where Zack pointed and saw Zoey and some guy sitting less than 6 inches away from each other smiling, laughing, and they had a smoothie with 1 straw.

"But she said her little sister was sick. She lied to me. Why would she do that? I mean look at them. Now they are holding hands with each other!" Cody was furious. "I hope she's not going to kiss him now." Cody got up and walked over to her table.

"Hey Zoey. Couldn't help but notice you from over there, but how's your little sister? Because I thought you said that you had to take care of your sick little sister and this dude doesn't look like you sick little sister!"

"Cody! What are you doing here?"

"Hmm. Let's see. This is a mall, I have money to spend, I'm with my friends, and oh yeah- this is a mall!"

"Cody it's not really what it looks like. You were just here at the wrong time and place."

"Well, according to my watch, it's 7:05 and we're at a mall and I just found you cheating on me. Hmm. You're right it's not what it looks like. You know what Zoey? We are through."

"But Cody-"

"No 'but Cody's.' We are through and that's final." Cody started walking away but turned around. "And you were also one of my friends. Now, I can't even call you friend because you stood me up in the end." Cody walked back to his friends and they left Zoey and the mysterious boy in the mall. "I was fine 'til 7:05. When she betrayed me. Now she's gone and I'm moving on."

"Dude, that was an awesome break-up, it only took like 2 seconds for you to tell her good-bye and then poof! You guys broke up. I applaud you." Zack said.

When they got home from the mall, Cody went on his laptop and signed onto his screen name. Then, Zoey IM'ed him.

Zoeygirl01: Cody I'm really sorry. I'm really really really really sorry. I hope you can forgive me. Please?

Volcomdude92: Don't keep telling me your sorry. Let me tell you how much this hurts me too. It doesn't just affect you. You know I was fine until 7:05 when I caught you at the mall with some mysterious man drinking one smoothie with 2 straws, holding hands, and sitting closer than 6 inches. When I first spotted you, I was hoping you wouldn't kiss him.

Zoeygirl01: So can you forgive me?
