That Person We Miss
Luna Lovegood was lying down on her bed trying to go to sleep for it was quite late. But the adrenaline from the past few days of the war have made her quite restless, albeit it was the adrenaline that made her wide awake, she blamed the wackspurts.
Luna tossed and turned, the bed sheets were starting to detach from the bed and were getting wrinkled. So Luna did her best to keep herself still, but failed in the process. So she indulged herself in singing songs mentally in her mind. But while she was humming to the tunes, she had a small, and vague image of her mother singing those exact same songs to her. So instead of singing those songs, she wanted to make a letter.
After, a few minutes of thinking what to say. She said it out loud. "Hi mom." Luna started as she stared blankly at the ceiling. "I miss you quite a lot. The war ended but some of my friends are gone. I wonder where they went when they died, I'm also wondering the same with you. Where did you go after you died?" Luna paused waiting for an answer to come out, but received none. Luna sighed but smiled "I asked Hermione the same questions but she said that they were in a better place. What is this 'better place' she speaks of? And if I die, will I go there to? Anyway, I'm glad I was able to talk to you even though you didn't answer any of my questions. I love you mom." Luna ended.
She moved once more on her bed in a comfortable position leaving her hands in a praying way and leaving her cheek to rest slowly on her hands. Sooner or later, Luna fell asleep.
