Author's Notes: I wrote this fanfic because the idea just came into my mind and won't leave me alone till I write it down. Actually that's the reason behind this fic remaining untitled. My friend, Charity, is helping me write this and she helps me with the plot. The setting is during MG. I don't want to write about MG2 coz then Xiao Qiao will be there and I want San Chai in this fanfic to have possible pairings with all the F4. ; )
Disclaimer: I don't own Meteor Garden.
Possible Pairings: San Chai/Dao Ming Si (note: they won't end up together) San Chai/ Hua Ze Lei (note: I'm not sure about this one) San Chai/ Xi Men (note: you'll find out later) possible San Chai/ Mei Zuo (note: I said possible.. don't count on it too much)
So on to the first chapter.

Chapter 1

As it rained torrents, a lone figure stood in the middle of the road. He was soaking and his hair was plastered on his face. It was hard to see if it was the rain or he was crying. He had a bottle of wine in one hand. Then, he started sobbing... the bottle dropped to the ground and he sat on the sidewalk... still sobbing silently he held his head with his hands. ' I'm pitiful really... Imagine the great playboy... Xi Men crying because of a girl... a common girl at that... '
San Chai was walking home from her second job as a waitress in a restaurant. She was about to open the door when she heard sobs coming just from a few feet away. She looked over and saw the crumpled form of Xi Men on the sidewalk. Beside him lay an empty bottle of wine.
As she approached him, Xi Men looked up and saw Xiao You (or who he thought was Xiao You) walking up to him. He stood up and wrapped his arms around her. "Don't leave me... Xiao You... don't leave me... I love you... Xiao You!" Then he kissed her... showing her how much he loved her.
San Chai was shocked when Xi Men hugged her and kissed her. His words though explained to her what happened 'Don't leave me... Xiao You ... don't leave me... I love you... Xiao You!' 'He thought I was Xiao You?', she thought. San Chai though snapped out of the trance she'd been in when it rained harder. She quickly pulled Xi Men into her house.
She gave Xi Men a towel and dried herself up. Inside her mind though, an argument with herself has started. 'So you liked the kiss?' 'But... he was drunk and he thought I was Xiao You...' 'But you liked it, didn't you?' '...' 'What now, still don't want to admit it?' 'But... I love Dao Ming Si ' 'Do you, really?' 'If you really love him then why did you fight with him again awhile ago... more than before' 'Well, he was being pigheaded ' 'Oh come on, doesn't he always act like that?' 'Yeah, but he went too far this time' 'Yeah, right' 'Ok... I admit, I'm sick of it!' 'Sick of what?' 'He treats me like I'm some kind of possession and not as a person' 'Right...'
